    Nothing, everything was brilliant.

Well equipped kitchen. Instruction manual for all appliances. Welsh cakes, tea/coffee and fresh milk in the fridge was the perfect welcome pack. Local shop within walking distance and Tesco short drive away. Perfectly situated for Brecon Beacons and waterfall country.

Everything was fine, just need a blind for the biggest bedroom to stop outdoor lighting / daylight coming in.

Comfortable stay - felt like being at home. Just what we needed for the three of us when walking all day.

Awful check in experience. Unreachable owners, who actually hung up on me when I rang trying to get check in details past the time of check in. No apology. Caused a lot of uneeded stress.

Lovely little cottage clean and tidy, everything we needed.

Liked that it was clean, cousy, everything been supplied from toiletries to cleaning products, also loved the welcoming letter with cookies on the side. Also liked that it was very close to Brecon Beacon National Park. Highly recommend this place to stay. Perfect place for family and friends to stay.

A really tidy and clean house with a good feeling about it. NIce facilities, plenty of kitchen stuff, nice decor, doorstep parking, quite village with shops, nice part of Wales, super helpful hosts (not in your face either). Couldn't fault it.

The cottage is located a few minutes drive from the very center of Aberdare, and close to Tesco for shopping. The fireplace is easy to pop on, and heats up the living room nicely. Street parking was always convenient with space just in front of the door. We were very content staying there, and if ever in Aberdare again, wouldn't hesitate to stay again.

    Nothing

I got a 2 year old child and my family booked the cottage at the last minutes (the night before I travelled). The host was nice and very responsive. She sent me the message immediately after my booking to arrange a high chair and stair gates for my baby. The cottage was clean and tidy. We were surprised to receive a welcome note from the host with welcome Welshcakes, tea, milk and coffee. There were 2 double bedrooms and 1 bedroom with a bunk bed. It was spacious. My family of 5 persons (3 adults and 2 children) stayed comfortably during out stays. Socket covers were also provided to safeguard child safety. All electric appliances were provided with user manuals and this facilitated easy usage. There was washing machine, with drying mode, which was very convenience. The cooking utensils set was new. Cooking pots, kettles and fridges (you could buy ice cream in summer!) were all user friendly. There was a small garden in which you could hang clothes or took a drink if you want. May be due to our last minutes booking, a bathtub mat was missing upon my arrival. However, it didn't affect out stay because the host read my message in a minute and provided the mat instantly to my family. We drive to the cottage. There is a parking space outside the cottage. Check-in was easily. This allows flexibility for travelers. Highly recommend this cottage and will stay here again if we traveled to South Wales again.
