In our room there wasn't a bathroom door. It wasn't stated when booking. The bathroom was quite compact and the bathroom sink isnt ideal (was easy to splash on the floor). Shower was ok. Maybe a good addition would be a full length mirror in the room somewhere too.

Great location and character throughout pub/ hotel. Breakfast was excellent and staff were very helpful

The bedroom was a little small and basic but was perfectly acceptable for the 2 nights we were there.

The bar staff were very friendly and accommodating. The evening meal and breakfast were very good and there was a good atmosphere.

My room had an ‘open plan’ feel to it with no door to the bathroom/toilet. I was on my own and so no problem, it could have been a problem for couples who didn’t know each other too well or who desired more privacy.

Miller of Mansfield is a historic pub in the centre of Goring and very close to the beautiful River Thames path. It has an ancient and quirky feel. My room was a delightful ‘attic’ type room with a wonderful view of the gardens and trees opposite. Quirky layout to the room with ‘open plan’ bathroom, almost in the room. Very friendly and professional and welcoming staff, excellent breakfast. Bed and linen very comfortable, lots of hot water, shower perfect.

Unable to control temperature of shower. Cold tap in sink was a dribble. Pipes were noisy although I know they are very old. Curtains were very tatty and torn.

Excellent location for us as we were walking The Ridgeway and used Goring as a base for both the Wantage to Goring and Goring to Watlington legs. Breakfast was good - it was a single choice from the menu plus tea or coffee rather than a buffet but it was all we needed. Room was spacious, clean and comfortable with good facilities and fresh milk was provided which was nice.

Lovely pub with local atmosphere. Nice room - quirky, which we like. We had to cut our stay from 2 to 1 night due to family emergency, and they were very amenable in cancelling/ refunding the second night.

Shower could be hotter, shaver plug would be useful. Could be noisy on Fri/Sat evening if you're an early sleeper! No parking. Beware taxis if needed..very expensive as they have to come from Wallingford.

Accommodating staff, spacious bedroom, great breakfast, Very convenient location for Thames Path walking.
