Hotel feels tired - rooms are a bit sad and breakfast was uninspiring. In fairness, staff were very obliging.

Location as well as spacious room and bathroom. It is a victorian building with some characteristics still kept. It was interesting to hear the floor boards of the room above us creaking. Staff was very helpful

We didn’t eat in the hotel but would have been good to see food choices/ prices either available in the room or at reception.

Excellent location as we were in Glasgow for a shopping trip. Booked through Booking.com so very good price.

The only issue we had was that there were people in the square who were loud and unfortunately we could hear them. Sound proofing was not great.

The room was a good size. It took some time for someone to appear to check us in, however the staff we did speak to were nice and helpful. There is a lift which is great and the location is really good, can easily navigate around Glasgow from here.

The room was a bit tight but we’ve been in tighter. The bathtub/shower was chipped, drained poorly and was so narrow you felt like you were surfing while showering.

The hotel is located in such a central area for shopping and restaurants!

Bathroom and some of the room fitting were ready to be refurbished. But overall good value for money 😀

Great location, near the station and subway. NCP Car park a short walk away. Breakfast was very good and staff helpful.

Rooms are a bit tired and requiring some tlc. No bottled water in rooms which seems standard in most 4 stars that i have stayed in. Paid £4.50 for a bottle of water from bar. Couldnt have a shower in the morning as their was no hot water coming through bath taps or shower (advised reception on departure as probably just a wee maintenance job as their was hot water coming through sink taps fine).

Room wasn’t very sound proof, could hear others in and out of rooms and lots of noise travelled in from outside even with windows shut, The room wasn’t the cleanest, ok for one night but big handprints left on windows, lots of marks over the walls and a tear in the carpet. (Staff very apologetic when I mentioned at check out)

Location of property is great and easy to get too. The staff were all welcoming and helpful, very friendly. Comfortable bed, powerful shower & working tv with lots of channels to choose from. Large, spacious room. Tea & coffee making facilities in room. Grand entrance with a bar & seating along to see out into George’s square available for all guests.

Room needed upgrading. No dinner available, that was a shock having stayed here many times in the past. Morning coffee served in the lounge or veranda was unavailable until 12-30pm, short staff, we were told.

Location is excellent when travelling by train. Hotel is next door to the station. Friendly staff. Breakfast was cooked to order. Bar staff were efficient when we had a drink late Sunday afternoon with relatives we were meeting.

Someone didn't notice they left a pint of milk on the outside window sill (have pictures)

Large room , clean and huge bathroom. Not that we needed it but there was an iron/iron board very handy. Hairdryer,tea/coffee facilities
