Di and Dave were most welcoming, nothing was too much trouble. The room was clean with everything you could need for your stay. Breakfast was amazing, fresh and delicious. Thank you for a great stay

Luxurious! Everything was exceptional !! The breakfast was 5* Comfortable beds and well set out space and accessible. Beautiful setting, Great hosts. Attention to every detail by the hosts. I wish we could have stayed longer. 100% recommended accommodation!

The hosts Di & Dave were wonderful, the B&B was immaculate with lovely gardens and plenty of room for parking. The breakfast was excellent and always promptly served. Lovely views from the back of the house. An ideal base for both driving and walking. We will be staying there again for certain.

There was really nothing, we didn’t like, perhaps simply that we were passing through so quickly. I would stay a couple of days here actually cause there’s quite a lot to do locally.

First of all, it’s a delightful location, not too far from Penistone and just off the Trans Pennine Trail. The couple who run it are an absolute delight and cannot do enough for the Payne guests. We took the three bedroom apartment which is on two floors and which is very reasonably priced spotlessly clean and which opens onto the main property for breakfast breakfast to serve separate to other gases stay within the main body of the house. my house were incredibly friendly because I arrived with a bike with quite significant problems and immediately I was whisked into Penistone to see if the bike shop was open! Things were also held by use of the garage to help fix the bike. Lastly, a wonderful recommendation for a great Italian restaurant in Penistone call Tia Amo. We did indeed love it!

Only two things - and they are super minor things - so many little spiders in the room because the window was open (but it was only an issue because I am scared of them). And the shower head would only face to the side, which was frustrating. All good otherwise!

Absolutely lovely B&B. Dave met me in the driveway and carried my bag in for me (thank you). The room was clean and had everything I needed. The fan was a nice touch, especially with the very hot weather we were having. Other things that were great: - water pressure for the shower, - tea, coffee & hot choc, with an added coffee machine and a small fridge for the small milk - wonderful touch! They offered me a "real coffee" when I arrived & when I was doing some work outdoors the next day. The highlight, the breakfast - everything was freshly made once I arrived downstairs. There was fruit and cereal and it was very tasty indeed! The views out the back were truly stunning, a very peaceful and calm location, I couldn't get enough of the peace & quiet! Di and Dave are lovely people and made me feel very welcome - thank you so much! A much needed rest in a welcoming and friendly B&B!

Couldn't really fault much about the stay - on the more expensive side compared to other places nearby but the facilities were fantastic. Up to each guest to decide if 'worth it'.

Fantastic facilities, house and room were immaculate. Great hosts Di and Dave, very welcoming and considerate. Arrived on a muddy bike and they were able to give me a hose to clean the bike and washing for my cycling clothes - fantastic personal service.

Di and Dave were excellent hosts, friendly and very accommodating. Location perfect for our visit. We attended a concert in Holmfirth and the location of Millbrook was ideal for us, outside the bustle of the town. Perfect Breakfast was delicious with plenty of selection of cereals, fruit, yoghurt etc. Full English breakfast perfectly cooked. Would highly recommend to anyone wishing to book. View from our bedroom window was beautiful. Bright sunshine, flowing river, sheep/lambs in the field. Couldn't ask for better.
