The hosts were very helpful and came out to help us when the satnav took us round the corner from the cottage and we couldn’t find it. They checked in with us the next day that everything was ok and we’re very approachable and informative about the area and how to get around . The cottage was immaculate

Great communication with the host Robert, last minute preparations for the additional room. Informative for amenities in the local area. Tea, coffee and some amazing biscuits also provided.

The cottage was just perfect it had everything we needed, and the finishing touches such as milk in the fridge, tea, and coffee were wonderful and relieved a lot of pressure after a busy journey. The cleanliness was fabulous, and the bed was very comfy. Neighbours and area were very quiet, which was perfect for a good night's sleep. The host Robert was amazing. He communicated well to make sure we were OK. His hospitality was very much appreciated. The location of the cottage is perfect for getting to the Stadium of Light or the Aquatics Centre. It's just a 5 minute drive. We were able to come back in between races for a gala, meaning we could cook our own food and not have to carry it all with us. We will definitely be booking again.

If your in Sunderland for theatre,football,shopping or beaches,this place is central for all these things. We were there for a wedding at brewers ropery,and it was literally 2 mins away. The cottage was immaculate,comfy and cosy.the host left us milk and water which was so welcoming after a long journey to sit and have a cuppa.robert text to ask if all was ok...the area is very quiet,and we really enjoyed our weekend there.

Unfortunately snow n ice made walking very difficult and we left after one night. The forecast was for more bad weather.🥶😓Robert was very informative and understanding,the property was completely lovely. If we return we would go to Roberts accommodation. Thank you.

Milburn Cottage is just gorgeous! it is immaculate, the cleanest property we have ever stayed in. We used it as a base for two days whilst attending a wedding locally.

As we were having a look around the Sunderland area, it was in a location that is fairly central to everything we wanted to do. The property interior is of a high standard and very well maintained. The kitchen had everything you needed and lots of extras. The lounge was lovely, and the bed was large and comfy. Parking was easy outside the property. It was a very quiet street whilst we were there Robert was an excellent host
