Due to a party event there was some noise untill midnight which was not too loud . PS car park around the back requires attention as it is not tidy at all around the back . Hotel room bedroom mattresses are surely up for a change as they do show signs of wear and tear.

The traditional layout of the entire hotel was exceptional.

There was only one plug in the bedroom opposite side of the room and the room was very dated, the beautiful metal balustrade on the staircase could do with a good dusting, had to ask for clean towels as the ones we used the day before were put back on the towel rails wet through , was told by the manager that there was a sign up in the bathroom to leave them in the bath if you required clean ones , but double checked No Sign ?

It's in the middle of the city hence nightmare traffic but apart from that everything was great 👍 👌

Staff were wonderful and ever so friendly, the amenities are great and well maintained, food is delicious and you can personalise your order they will make it even when it's not on the menu. Definitely coming back for leisure next time 😍🤩

Beautiful hotel from a bygone age and full of character. Very friendly staff and a great location with car parking in the centre of Bradford. Comfortable room with a massive bathroom and a good shower.

The room we were allocated was so shabby - the furniture was old and worn and the room smelled stale and the decor was a bit yuck - we paid an extra £60 (for our three night stay) to upgrade. The second room was better, although small, not that it was a problem as we were out most of the time. The bathroom did not have a working extractor. Hopefully, The City of Culture award will result in money being invested in the hotel

Staff were lovely, it was quiet, beautiful building, parking, bar prices were good, lovely position within Bradford, very good housekeeping, good shower but a grab rail would be useful for those of us less agile

The hotel is beautiful. The staff went out of their way to be helpful. The room was very comfortable, bath towels and robes good quality, room refreshments well stocked. Parking was good. Would visit again.

Small faults like sink in bathroom was in need of sealant as water was splashed on you and pillows bit hard.

Beautiful old building with lots of character. Lovely picture s of Laurel and Hardy outside the room they stayed in. Back entrance with wooden flooring and old suitcases.

We had 2 fans in our room, one of which didn't work. It was a warm day and opening the window made it significantly noisier (we did that anyway). I should add, it wasn't a hot day, just a warm day. It could have been much worse.

I really liked that breakfast had a variety of cooked upon request options.

The laminate flooring near the door, it was a health and safety hazard (slipping with socks on) and not necessary. I think at check in there could have been more info offered, such as how to get to the room and location of lifts and stairs. Whilst beautiful, the building is a bit of a rabbit Warren.

Beautuful building with lots of character. The bed was comfortable and the room a good size. The shower was great, very powerful. The parking facility was very helpful, as was the central location.

Car parking, when we went to the car in the morning our car had a number of scratches on the door made by the white car which was parked next to us when we parked.

We moved room as the one allocated to us smelt very strongly of tabacco smoke. the room we were put in was of good quality fixtures and fittings, although I could not work the free standing shower.
