Could not fault a thing! The value for money is exceptional given the beautiful accommodation, the surroundings, the hosts and the breakfast

Myself and my husband travelled to Gloucester from the north east to pick up a guitar and decided to make a trip out of it, we found Michaelmas cottage and we are so glad we booked to stay! Wow! Charlotte and Liam are the most wonderful hosts! Thank you for the warm welcome and the breakfast was absolutely amazing! One of the best pouched eggs and avocado I’ve had! They really go above and beyond and make the stay exceptional! We also enjoyed meeting some furry friends 😆🐶 The property is beautiful! So quaint, cosy and quiet, the bed is so comfortable and we enjoyed some card games and chess, Charlotte very kindly booked us a table for food at the antelope which is across the road and it was lovely, so thank you again for that. The location is fantastic, 20 minutes to Stonehenge and we also took a trip to bath ( 1 hour drive) to see the Roman baths! So it is perfect for day trips out to tick a few things off the bucket list

We had a wonderful stay at Michaelmas Cottage for a wedding weekend. Our hosts Charlotte and Liam made us feel incredibly welcome and at home, nothing was too much trouble. The breakfast was lovely, the room was comfortable and cozy, we didn’t really want to leave. We would love to visit again and stay for longer next time. A real home away from home!

Michaelmas cottage was a delight to stay at. We were made to feel so comfortable and special by charlotte and her family. I would recommend it without a second thought. The village was very pretty and in a good position. The river was beautiful and nice to sit at. All in all probably my favourite stay I have had in my travels for the last five months.

If you love to walk the paths of nature...if you like to enjoy wonderful antique, charming ambience in an old cottage... Michaelmas Cottage and the surrounding area is exactly where you want to be🤗💞😍 Very good starting point for Stonehenge, Salisbury, Marlborough, Bath...walks everywhere...bycicling. Train station in the next village and bus service in all directions from Monday to Saturday. There is a restaurant and a well-stocked grocery store. The hosts have furnished the stylishly combined guest cottage, consisting of bedroom/living/dining room area with shower and private terrace , with passion and to every detail. Charlotte surprise you with a daily selection of unusual excellent breakfast ideas and incredibly delicious dinners😋🤪😋. I felt super comfortable and enjoyed every moment with the whole family and the uniquely cute dogs, cats and rabbits. You can feel that everything just with the💝 here!!!
