I had to wait in the busy bar just to ask for some ice for our room. There was no staff member on the front desk to ask so I didn't feel looked after as a guest in that moment, but it really was just a small niggle.

Loved the decor and vibe of the place, the food, particularly breakfast, was very good. Staff were lovely and accommodating despite being busy.

Great restaurant and bar space in a cool motel. Dinner and breakfast were both excellent and service is friendly and easy. Our room was small-ish but perfectly good for one night. We had a lovely walk before breakfast

The staff were very welcoming, and went above and beyond in trying to find us alternative accommodation since booking.com had failed to make the reservation they had confirmed with me. The staff were much more helpful than the booking.com support line, which simply tried to avoid taking any responsibility or liability for the company's failings.

- The room was a bit hot and the fan very small - The shutter were a bit difficult to figure it out

We stayed here for a night during our road trip and was happy with our stay. The room was modern and well decorated. The bed was cosy and large. The bathroom was also very nice with a big shower and good water pressure. We also had a good view over nature and the sound of birds which was pleasant.

Bedroom was a wee bit tight for two big guys, but not really an issue given that we loved every other aspect of the hotel and staff.

Food, drink and service were first rate. Wonderful staff, so helpful and friendly. Location was excellent for hill walking.

The rooms were basic but immaculate and carefully thought out for the space available - perfect for an overnight stop to rest our heads.

Oh we absolutely loved this place. What a find to break your journey to or from The Highlands! It was exceeded our expectations. We booked it purely to put our heads down and break our 8hr drive. We could have kept going and arrived at our Skye destination in the dark but knew it would have been unforgiveable to drive through Glencoe in the dark so stopped here to enjoy one of the most breathtaking drives in the world, the next morning. We had no idea what a wonderful little place we had stumbles across. The staff were amazing - very friendly and nothing was too much trouble. The retro decor was consistent, quirky and fun. We loved it. The food was way better than we could have imagined and was pretty high-end gastropub stuff. Best of all was the dog welcome - they were made to feel so at home which was instantly relaxing for us. If you book here - leave time to visit the fantastic little gem of a shop next door - inspiring and beautiful - but you'll need to factor a certain budget in for this as part of your holiday! Next time we travel to The Highlands we will most definitely re-route if necessary to call by this lovely hotel.

The only down side was there was issue with the water temperature for the shower in our room, the staff were helpful about the issue but it wasn’t fixed during our stay.

The staff were excellent, the hotel facilities were excellent and the food was very good. We stayed on a Thursday evening when there was live music in the bar, the atmosphere was fun and lively. Loved how the inside of the hotel and room were decorated sort of distressed trendy.
