We loved everything.

Sarah and Dave are the perfect hosts. On arrival there was a welcome basket for us, which was a lovely touch. The flatlet is clean, comfortable and has everything you need to have a fabulous stay in this beautiful area. The bed was really comfortable and everything has a touch of class. Thank you for all your kindness Sarah and Dave and we look forward to staying with you again.

The hosts were the perfect mix of friendly and helpful but unobtrusive. The flatlet is light and cosy with so many funky details. Placed at the top of the hill overlooking the harbour you have a short walk to either Port Mellon where you can follow the coastal path(bring walking shoes/boots) to see seals or down to the beautiful harbour town with its quirky shops and multiple great eateries. Everyone we met was very friendly and welcoming. We cannot wait to go back and would definitely choose the accommodation again. And the homemade biscuits as part of the welcome pack were scrumptious.

The room was impeccable, the bed was amazing couldn’t have been comfier, all the facilities within the room were well thought out and useful. Was decorated tastefully, and Sarah and Dave couldn’t have been more helpful, genuinely two of the nicest people i’ve ever had the pleasure of meeting and will 1000% be returning in the future. Couldn’t of had a better time.

Super friendly hostess. Many thoughtful touches including delicious home baked treats. Beautiful location, the apartment is very comfortable and has been designed and decorated nicely, couldn’t have been any cleaner! Everything you could possibly need!

The only thing we didn’t like about the property was that we couldn’t stay longer. For us, it was the perfect stay.

We had the most wonderful time staying at Seagulls. Dave and Sarah were incredibly hospitable and accommodating. The flatlet is clean, warm, cosy and you can easily tell that every thought has been put into building and decorating it. It was the perfect way for us to spend NYE. We enjoyed an incredible meal at a restaurant recommended by Dave and Sarah, then spent the evening of New Year’s with cheese and wine in the flatlet, and we wouldn’t have wanted to be anywhere else. After an up-and-down 2023, coming to stay in Mevagissey in such wonderful accommodation was everything we needed to relax and recuperate. We travelled over 6 hours by train to get down to Mevagissey, and it was 100% worth it. We will always have fond memories of Seagulls and will try to get back the next time we can afford to. Would highly recommend to anyone looking for a relaxing and cosy getaway by the sea.

A lovely very well equipped one large room plus shower room. Very thoughtfully equipped and fun quirky decor . Comfy big bed. Easy walk into the little village /town and lovely views. The flatlet is a separate part of the host’s residence so they were on hand and really helpful with any queries. Fabulous !

Couldn't find a fault at all!

Sarah and Dave added super personalised touches to every aspect of this property and the welcome package was a lovely addition with lots of local touches. The property was perfectly clean and top notch! The area is ~5 minutes walk from either town and there is plenty of lovely walking / hiking paths around the area!

Nothing - it was perfect.

Perfect apartment in a perfect location. The hosts were extremely friendly and helpful with great advice on places to visit and recommendations on where to eat. The attention to detail was exquisite and there were more treats than you would find in a five star hotel. We would highly recommend Seagulls to anybody wanting to explore that peaceful oasis in Cornwall.
