We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.

GermanyIf you want to experience what first class service feels like, then this is the place for you. This very nice "bed and breakfast accommodation" has been lovingly decorated by its owners Sharon and Mark and is full of lovely little touches. Many of the small artworks depict the themes that make Torquay and the surrounding towns so lovely. They have thought of everything that makes a holiday more enjoyable. Does the word perfect describe the breakfast? Not really, it's perfect and as if your every wish would come true. I don't have a direct comparison to the other hotels, but you can't do better than Sharon and Mark. A very fair price, and with a bit of luck a parking space in front of the door.

It was a real pleasure to chat with them and they gave us so much information on places to visit while in Devon. United KingdomWe stayed at the Melba House as as last minute stop gap whilst on our way to Cornwall for the week. This was by far one of the friendliest and welcoming B&B’s we have stayed in. From the time we arrived, Sharon & Mark were so friendly and helpful with advice on places to go locally. The B&B itself was immaculately clean and the towels and bedding were of excellent quality. The bed that was so comfortable we didn’t want to get up! The breakfast was the tastiest we’ve had in a long time from the beautifully prepared muesli to the tasty well presented cooked breakfast. Nothing was too much trouble for them and they could not have done any more or made us feel more welcome. From the chocolate goodies left on our door to the travel snack bag as we were leaving was also a lovely touch. Looking forward to staying again very soon.

From the moment we arrived until the morning we left mark and sharron could not have done any more to make us feel at home.the breakfast choice and quality was superb.the room was clean modern and comfortable.location was also spot on,just turn left out the door and head down towards the beach and shops and bars.AS for mark and sharron,I don’t think you would find any couple nicer in Torquay to be running a very nice b&b.we will definitely be coming back next year.book without hesitation.

The bed and breakfast was located an equal distance between both Torquay and Torre stations, and within a short walk to both the town and seafront. The hosts were very welcoming, and the facilities were very clean and well maintained. The breakfast was excellent with some lovely touches.

United KingdomCar parking was a bit nerve racking for me as it’s on a hill. Could be because I have an older car but there is parking on the flat just across the road so no problem really.
Great location, within walking distance of the seafront and shops. Lovely guest house with great hosts. The chocolate hanging on the door at night was really thoughtful and a great sweet treat when you returned in the evening. Breakfast was great and sets you up for the day. Will definitely return in the future. On the morning we checked out, Sharon and Mark gave us a goodie bag with some snacks and bottled water for the journey home. This was so nice of them and we really appreciated it.
