Unfortunately, there isn't a local taxi service, or at least not a reliable one, so unless you want to eat round the corner in The Carpenters Arms every night it is a drive to dinner which means one person can't drink.

Beautifully appointed room - we were downstairs in Sunrise. The breakfast was particularly good and Pauline's poached eggs were exceptional. Sam and Pauline were very welcoming and responsive to any comments we had. Being able to enjoy a drink from the fridge in the lounge at the end of a full day was a nice touch

Lovely clean and quiet. In a good location for event in Holkham Estate. Off street car parking and very helpful hosts. I was late arriving and they even had 2 lovely slices of homemade cake left in the room. Bathroom was spotless and the robes/slippers were a lovely touch.

Beautiful decoration, thought about everything required, hot tub was a perfect addition, breakfast was delicious and staff were very friendly and efficient . Fab quiet location .access to lodge also enhanced our stay once back from the restaurant next door x

My husband and I really enjoyed our 2 nights stay at Maadow View. Everything about our stay from start to finish was really great. Lovely comfortable room with everything we needed during our stay. Breakfast in the morning was amazing. We were well looking after by the lovely staff. We would definitely stay again.

The breakfast was amazing. Good choice and beautifully cooked and presented. The village was pretty and pub a couple of doors down. Pub food very good and would also recommend for lunch / evening meal. Loved using the hot tub at the guest house. Lovely areas to use lounge / garden.

It was the perfect stay. Beautiful location with parking. The rooms were clean and fresh and we really appreciated the home made cake in our room on arrival. The hosts were really nice and the breakfasts were lovely. If that wasn't enough, it is next door to a country pub who do the best burgers ever!

Absolutely nothing!

Our room was absolutely beautiful and spotlessly clean and comfortable. We loved the extra little touch of a welcome piece of cake on arrival. The visitors lounge had a really well stocked mini fridge with mini and normal size bottles of wine, prosecco, beer etc at a really reasonable price. Also a small flask of oat milk which I had requested for my tea. We made use of the hot tub in the garden which was fabulous - there was a basket of ‘pool’ towels by the door to use and robes in our room. Breakfast was cooked to order and was delicious. Everything was just perfect for our weekend away - thank you Sam and girls for making us so welcome.

It did seem strange at first that no one was there to greet you and that a key safe with code had to be used to get in. All became obvious at breakfast …

Very stylish property in excellent decorative condition. Lovely and warm with very comfortable furniture and bed. Every detail has been thought through and everything anyone could require for an overnight stay has been catered for. We enjoyed having a comfortable lounge to have a drink as well. The breakfast was delicious and cooked to order. The staff were very friendly and hospitable. It was a perfect location for visiting Thursford Christmas show and Holkham Hall as we did. Also the pub which is a stones throw away is excellent for an evening meal. We will definitely return.

The house and facilties were to a very high standard. We were made incredibly welcome by the hosts starting with the tasty large home made slices of cake found in our room on our arrival . There was a good choice of hot beverages and bottled water available in the room as well as a plentiful supply of fresh bottled milk in the fridge. The breakfast menu is the most extensive and flexible we've ever come across, all freshly cooked and served up with friendly ( but never intrusive) conversation by the hosts. We didn't use the hot tub but it all looked spotlessly clean with special towels and robes provided. The Carpenters Arms right next door was greatly appreciated after our long journey serving up an excellent choice of well cooked and presented food. As we were visiting friends in the nearby seaside town of Well Next The Sea it gives us the perfect excuse to return for another stay at Meadowview in the future. I would recommend anyone to treat themselves to a stay in this gem of a guest house.

We thought everything was exceptional. We stayed in the Lavender Room (twin room.) The room was great, the bathroom was lovely and spacious with a bath and separate shower. The hot tub was great, it was lovely. We had a bottle of prosecco from the mini bar, and drank it in plastic wine glasses while in the hot tub. The choice of breakfasts was superb, and it was lovingly cooked and presented by Sam. The cake left in our room on arrival was wonderful. A lovely surprise! Thanks very much Sam for a lovely break! We would love to come back soon!

That we couldn't move in!

The home made cake upon arrival was an excellent touch. The venue is beautiful within a stunning setting. The staff are friendly and welcoming. The breakfast was faultless as was the service. It was my birthday and they snuck a birthday card into our room and asked us to help ourselves to a free drink from the minibar (also a nice touch). Good quality tea and coffee in room and the bed was so comfortable. The whole property was immaculate and our stay was perfect.

Decor was tasteful throughout, rooms were clean & staff /service were good, relaxing and friendly. Helpful in that I could charge my electric bike during my stay. Quiet position.

The only negative thing was the room was very warm but easily remedied by turning the thermostat down. The hot water was very hot so care is needed when using the shower or bath.

The room was spacious as was the bathroom. The welcome slices of cake in the room was a nice touch. The bed was very comfortable and the general facilities very good. The breakfast room was spacious and very clean and it was lovely to see our breakfast being cooked in front of us. The staff were very helpful and friendly. All in all an excellent place to stay.
