This is an attic flat that has a sloping roof on one side making it difficult to move around without bumping your head at some point, despite being careful.

Excellent location and a very comfortable bed. The flat had everything we needed for a great stay.

The shower, it works but it's not very powerful. Front door sticks and needs a hefty push or pull to close properly (noisy for others)

This property is above a chip shop and I did have a slight concern about fire safety. There is an extinguisher in the flat but I wasn't aware of a fire exit.

The property is equipped for self catering with a two ring hob. Very central location, although you do need to be fit to climb to the third floor as there is no lift. Parking is tricky as there is a two hour limit in the day time around the property.

Being central and near bars restaurants meant it was a little noisy later at night, nothing too bad but may get worse in high season. Unable to park outside but free on street parking can be found up hill behind accommodation. Bathroom needs a toilet brush. Light in one bedroom was so dim.

Central location was excellent, no need to use car, taxi or bus. Faculties good and door codes provided by email well before our arrival. We booked three appartments and facilities were actually better than expected.

The key to the room was damaged and we were locked out. When I phoned the number the man that answered was quite rude. He said he would get someone to come and sort it. The gentleman that came with a spare key was lovely and very apologetic.

We loved how close it was to everything, 2 minutes walk away from everything in Oban. Loved the layout of the apartment and how accessible everything was. Really clean and nothing to fault. We come every year to Oban to compete in the Argyllshire Gathering for the piping and have stayed in a lot of hotels in Oban over the years, this one was definitely the best value for money and out favourite so far!

Reserved parking was not available but it was easy to find nearby. The flat was advertised for four, but was not equipped for four. Only two forks provided, the only table was in the kitchen, for two.

Giving clearer direction to reach the apartment It's opposite a kebab restaurant that operates late into the night so it was a little noisy

The cleanliness of the apartment was not great. Some food crumbs were present in the cutlery drawer and some cutlery was not clean. The apartment could benefit from somewhere for a couple to eat together, as the small table in the living room / kitchen is small and positioned by a window, so that it is only practical for one person to sit there at a time. The bathroom could use some TLC (the rubber on the bottom of the shower door needs replacing) and the door would benefit from a lock!

Not the fault of the owners, but being under a fish and chip shop caused the apartment to smell of fish and chips slightly at times. Some things could have been cleaned better but not the worst ive seen.

There was a mix up with our booking, on our arrival the code given via email wouldn't work. This issue was quickly rectified by host over the phone. :-) The flat we were in was above the chip shop, great chippy ;-) not so keen on the smell but it wasn't too bad. I'm not sure if due to the mix up with booking (perhaps we weren't expected so no clean was done) that possibly the apartment hadn't been freshly cleaned but the cleanliness wasn't really to a good standard. It was decorated modern, although needing some attention to wee bits and bobs. I do feel a few improvements would make this an ideal stay. It is in a good location being central and reasonably priced but quite a few negatives regarding the cleanliness and little things around the flat. We also had to request bedding for the sofa bed again this was sorted promptly but the bedding was handed to us and we had to put the covers and pillow slips onto duvet and pillows ourselves. Host was pleasant enough. We did enjoy our stay but it was quite disappointing we had to clean before we could settle in apartment.

The flat was above a fish and chip shop so it was a bit noisy in the evenings. An extra fan in the bedroom would have been a bonus. A map of Oban in the flat would have been helpful.

The sofa bed was a bit dirty with food crumbs and stain marks. The photos shown of these apartments are misleading. We were in apartment 4 which doesn’t look like the pictures which is a shame as it was very plain. Possibly the other apartments have been recently renovated with more colour and better interior design.

The very central location. The staff who helped us was prompt and helpful. Kitchen was well furnished with equipment. Lots of storage spaces and nice hot water from the shower. Nice windows overlooking the Main Street.

There was sometimes a smell from the fish and chip shop below. The entrance into the apartment was on a very shallow stair. You had to be very careful when laving the apartment and locking the door.

It’s recently been refurbished and had everything you needed. It was very clean and great location for all the restaurants etc.

Loose wall sockets also would benefit from a small table in the lounge to put your drink on my hubby kicked his over twice on the floor

It was quite noisy but to be expected for such a central location.

Location excellent but down side was no parking for longer than 2 hours near the property.
