We couldn’t fault the property at all it was great

An absolutely fabulous little cottage. Very clean, very tidy and lots and lots of lovely little things just to make your stay all that more comfortable. Spotlessly clean with all the basics on hand straightaway and a very comfortable bed.

    Nothing, we loved the cottage!!

This fabulous well equipped little cottage had everything we needed for our stay. There was a lovely welcome note, welsh cakes and milk in the fridge. There were also toiletries, sweets, porridge oats and dog treats. The decor inside the cottage was just right. The living area and bedroom were spacious. Cara was a great host, easy to get in touch with and always answered any questions we had. There's a lovely little area to sit outside at the front of the cottage and a carpark directly opposite. The location is great too, lovely walks in the woods on the doorstep, a church, a fish and chip shop, three pubs, 2 shops and a butchers. it is also close to a beautiful waterfall which we would advise you drive to.

It was all perfect but if you have reduced mobility the stairs will be difficult to navigate. Oh and if you’re tall, mind you head on the bedroom door frame!

The cottage was in a perfect position in the village, there’s stunning views from the front with little chairs to sit and take it all in. It was spotless inside, every detail was thought of and it was full of quirky homely little bits which made it so cute and cosy. There’s 2 car parks opposite, the cottage is in walking distance of shops, takeaways and pubs (highly recommend the Plough for takeaway curry). Also you’re able to walk from the cottage to Pistyll Rhaeadr Waterfall (4 miles) and it’s just a short drive to Lake Vrynwy. We will definitely be staying here again when visiting family.

    Nothing!

I loved the way the cottage has been thought about so that it looks beautiful and although it's small it has everything you could possibly need. For example there was fresh coffee in the fridge and a cafetière. I didn't have my dog with me but there was a bed and treats for her if she'd come. Also a great location, in the heart of a quiet village but parking was easy right opposite and there's a pub, shop that's open late and a great Indian restaurant just down the street.

It was not an issue for us, but the stairs are very steep and headroom can be tight. This is because it is a wonderful, old tiny cottage and we loved it and would readily stay again if in the area.

Lovely little cottage, with everything required. On the road, but the road was quiet and the bistro table on the front was perfect for breakfast in the sun. Two pubs within yards, shop, walks, everything really

I fell in love with this wonderful little house in a fabulous village. The house had absolutely everything you could need, plus more. The village had a Spar, fish and chip shop, Indian takeaway and a pub, all on it's doorstep. I hope to return.
