We were first given a room with a fire escape and bird poop all over the window. Fortunately, they were able to move us, but we should never have had to ask, and the layout of the hotel is very difficult to negotiate, so not a warm welcome dragging our bags around. I was also very disappointed with the buffet breakfast, sub-par considering our dinner the night before was so good. The inconsistencies were surprising for a place of this standing, but the staff were very accommodating.

Beautiful old inn on fabulous grounds, with lots of facilities to enjoy if you’re staying for a few days, and very convenient to the airport.

Having travelled with 5 children under 6 years it was a long way to our rooms with 2 separate lifts. Ordered food in bar as restaurants were full but some items didn't come, when queried at bar, staff couldn't help...

Both bars had private functions on Saturday so there was NOWHERE to sit and get an afternoon drink for our party

I paid for my extras Saturday evening so that my check early the next day would be a breeze and was surprised with extra charges. I still do not agree. I took care of my responsibilities and then I had to pay for someone's error/ mistake Glad my driver was late.

The grounds and buildings are so beautiful. Everywhere you look is something more beautiful than the next. I left part of my mind and heart here! I can't wait to come back.

Located in a large golf centre, a few miles outside Edinburgh, Dalmahoy a very reasonably priced hotel for the facilities and location. Quiet and tranquil. Swimming pool available in the Spa and fitness centre.

We had a little bit of black mould on the sealant in our bathroom, and the bathroom was probably in need of a refurb. But we’d definitely stay again!

Lovely hotel, in a beautiful location! We stayed to see Taylor Swift in Edinburgh and the staff were so excited about the occasion 😊 Breakfast was great, the grounds were lovely to explore and the facilities were perfect. On a really easy bus route into the city centre, but with the perk of having a quieter stay.
