United KingdomThere are areas in the hotel which probably need a freshen up. For example, in the small dining room for breakfast it was evident that the wall paper had been poorly applied and was of a poor quality.
As the hotel had a large group from Bus tours the dining room was full and we were shown to a smaller dining room. The table service was excellent and the staff are all very friendly. Breakfast arrived promptly and was to a high standard. The fruit was all fresh and not from a can as was the orange juice. We didn't have dinner at the hotel but on the quality of the breakfast, maybe we should have done so. Our room was large and very comfortable. Wi-Fi access was available in the lounge areas down stairs but not within the room itself. Parking was very good.

United KingdomBar prices - but they have to pay for their entertainment (we weren't too fussed about the entertainment, so we used the multitude of bars right on the hotel's doorstep!!) Breakfast - small portions (1bacon, 1 sausage, 1 egg, 1/2 slice fried bread and some baked beans) - Have since found out this is to avoid waste, if you want a little more of anything on the plate you just have to ask and they'll happily accommodate. I do think this should be made clear on the menu.
Staff are very friendly, a real credit to the place...the staff really are 5 star! Room was a great size, well presented and VERY clean...as a bonus, we hade a private entrance directly onto the park, and rarely had to go through the hotel. Seafront location, beach right across the road Couple of minutes walk to the pier Great bars and restaurants right on the hotel's doorstep Free onsite parking Lift to all floors Very nice public areas, light and airy conservatory wraps into bar...windows EVERYWHERE to make the most of seafront location Great communication with the hotel before and since my stay...told you, GREAT staff!

The thing that stood out for me, apart from the excellent location and free parking, was the staff. They were helpful, courteous, friendly and good humoured. Some of the best staff I have encountered anywhere. A great bunch of people.

United KingdomThe entertainment could have been a little bit more upbeat to get the visitors dancing or singing along. The staff on the bar were very often doing other duties and were not always available to serve. This was not thier fault.
Position of the hotel plus free parking. Breakfast was always fresh and cooked nice. Plenty of choice. Staff were very friendly, helpful and nothing was too much trouble

The hotel is in a prime spot, right on the sea front and close to the shops and amusements, we only had the breakfasts there and they were good, the staff are very friendly and helpful

The location,central for everything short 5 min walk to the harbour ferry and station.The staff were very friendly and the fact you could park there was a bonus. Great location on beach and next to Nice gardens. Near to station and bus station and town center. Kind friendly staff helpful great evening meal option and well presented and of good quality. Nice evening entertainment varied on different nights and fair prices on drinks.
