Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):

When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

SwitzerlandHotel doesn’t seem to give the (environmentally friendly) option of not changing towels daily. No safe inside the room. 20+ minute walking distance from Guildford railway station, but there is a much closer option (London Road station).
Very nice hotel, friendly staff, rooms in good condition. Very good breakfast, WiFi connection and service.

United KingdomPartly picked hotel so 5 couples from across world could meet to celebrate 5 golden weddings. Were very disappointed that hotel restaurant was not open on a Sunday evening, so we had to go out to eat together. This was not obvious on website.

Nicely decorated hotel in convenient location within walking distance to town and 5 mins walk to lots of restaurants. I stayed in a single room, a “crash pad” which is small but has everything I needed given I didn’t stay in the room much. Design makes good use of space. Staff were very helpful and kind.

The location was excellent, they upgraded me t a double bedroom upon my arrival; staff was friendly and kind. The room was clean and there were plenty of towels and complementary snacks.

NetherlandsDe bathroom is reallyyy small, there’s no space to put your stuff. The room itself was also kinda small with a lot of stuff in there. You could hear all your neighbors loudly. Also the floors are squeaking, you can hear every step of your upstairs neighbors as well.

Sweet little hotel a short walk from Guildford High Street. Location made it easy to get around. The hotel is also close to the railway station. Staff at the hotel were friendly and always ready to help.
