Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.

When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

United KingdomHated being on the ground floor - it didn’t feel as safe and the windows didn’t tilt and turn so we couldn’t open them at night which we love. As a female I wasn’t as relaxed or comfortable as I would normally be and definitely impacted on my stay on this occasion.
Clean with every facility you would need for a trip and stayed before. Clean and well presented. Staff are very responsive to requests and it was great being able to leave our luggage in the storage facility on our last day. Have stayed before but would defo make a request to stay on the upper floors. This would affect my decision to stay if it wasn’t available.

Clean & safe place to stay; somewhat noisy with local foot traffic after the bars nearby close, but not too bad. Well appointed short-term apartment.

United KingdomWe are in our 60s and our daughter has fibromialga so we did struggle to get our luggage up to the 2nd floor with no lift. If we booked again we would have to request a ground floor if there were none available it would stop us booking again.
The apartment was absolutely beautiful and very clean. Not a bad position as near a tram stop.
