The first room we were given smell of damp but when we asked for a different room they were very accomodating. The decor of the hotel and of the rooms is nice but I find it a bit dark but for the price paid they could add some little touch such as a Coffee machine or a bag with like body creams and stuff like that

The location is perfect since it's very close to the city centre. The room is well presented and we found the bed really comfy.

The room is a strange layout, and there is no where well lit to put makeup on in the room. Bathrooms need a shaving mirror with back light. The room also felt a bit like it needed an update. There were weddings on both evening we were there and there was ambient noise from the music. Be aware of that if you don’t sleep well, seriously was OK for us but my traveling companion commented this would be an issue for some people due to the location of the function room directly beneath the hotel rooms.

The locations great and there is parking and a supermarket close too.

The service is faultless, staff were very helpful and friendly throughout our stay. The rooms are spacious and maintained to a high standard. We enjoyed the complimentary cocktail on arrival!

I’ve stayed here four times before (always at a higher price) and been very happy. This time, it felt like the quality is really dropping. Staff, whilst attentive, seemed unhappy to be there; in the bar, there were no pleasantries and smiles with me or other customers, yet staff were laughing and smiling with each other - I suspect you need to treat them better and be aware that it shows to your customers when you don’t. The maintenance also appears to be being ignored - in Room 523 both the sink and shower taps were dangerously unsecured and the door closer was mangled badly. The tap issues could easily lead to leaks - and guess what? Whilst I was checking in, I witnessed a conversation between the (nice) man on reception and another customer who’s stay had been ruined by a leak! Call a plumber, get the bathrooms checked and repaired - it’ll cost you ten times more if you don’t! I can see you’re under price pressures, but I’m unlikely to stay again - so is your approach right to dealing with them?

The room was very modern and clean. The option to have a bar token instead of room clean on second day was appreciated. Very classy reception and bar area. A short walk from all the attractions of the docks and riverside.

Lighting throughout the hotel dim, very trendy decor but the tiles in shower were a little old & worn. Lifts relatively fast but small & a little cramped.

Upgraded on arrival, very pleasant check in staff. Large room with view of the Mersey, nice tea,coffee choice in room & also chocolates and biscuits. Sky sports in room a bonus! The hotel is well situated to explore the docks & Liverpool one.

I called reception asking for a face flannel as there wasn’t one in the room, gentleman on reception said he’d call back and never did. Rainfall shower was lukewarm and poor pressure.

Good location, boujee decor and friendly staff. Rooms pretty standard but clean and comfortable. Bar and restaurant on site, mid-priced. Left our luggage with the hotel on our last stage who took good care of it.

Rather expensive for its locality. Shower was luke warm, couldnt book evening meal or breakfast on internet, kept taking us too booking an event page. Rather far out from centre so would expect better parking facilities, even pickup had to pay, double yellow lines everywhere, too many car restrictions in the area.

The room look some what tired and rough around the edges there was a hole in the leather sofa I expected better from the reputation of the brand.
