My children stayed at Magpies but didn't stay for breakfast as we had to leave early. I gave the comfort rating because my 6 foot 4 inch 15 year old son was hanging over the edge of the sofa bed, but this is clearly not something that most people will have an issue with :) Overall it was perfect for our needs and the children had a restful evening. Would definitely book it again.

Everything: the owner is so welcoming and attentive to detail. There is literally everything you may need, including toothpaste, toothbrush and other things in case you have forgotten them - all brand new items, unopened. Breakfast is excellent, so much choice!

Top notch hosts, so welcoming and friendly! A lovely room with en suite and comfortable bed. Excellent variety for breakfast, fresh fruit was delicious followed by a cooked breakfast. Nothing was too much trouble. Would definitely stay again.

Nothing,we have stayed in numerous B & Bs over the years and Magpies was the best .

Fabulous full English breakfast, comfortable bed and spacious bedroom with sofa and chairs ,fridge ,coffee/tea making facilities, TV with Netflix, own entrance and friendly helpful proprietor. Though it is next door to an Event Hotel there was no noise, extremely quiet even though there was a party going on, which I knew about as I had enquired about having a meal at the hotel and was informed it was booked for a party. Red Lion pub in Slinfold well worth a visit as is Petworth House, and Horsham.

I would highly recommend Magpies Lodge. The owner was very friendly and helpful and the room was excellent. Breakfast stunning! Will visit again next time we are in the area.

Absolutely everything! Warm and welcoming hosts. Our room was spacious, comfortable and well presented. A well stocked tea tray and the decanter of sherry a lovely suprise. The outdoor pool was very much appreciated and comfortably warm. The breakfast was delicious and plentiful and probably one of the best we've had. The property and gardens were beautiful. Thank you for such a memorable stay.

Ventilation was tricky, price quite high. An instruction on booking about parking would have been welcome.

Parking outside the gate was a tad awkward

Host was flexible with check in time. We loved "Fidget" the Springer Spaniel. Jane and Kevin were very hospitable and chatty. The room was glorious, a Garden room with beautiful views. Lots of generous and thoughtful additions in thr room. Attention to detail and very caring in the layout. We could sit in the garden and sit by the swimming pool. The grounds are beautiful. The home and breakfast were exquisite, even the crockery and silverware were stunning.

Magpies was such a find. Had a wedding to attend a few miles away and stayed at magpies overnight. I cannot fault the facilities or the owners. Immaculately clean. Every facility you could want. Very highly recommended.

There are absolutely no concerns....

Magpie's Lodge was a warm and welcoming bed & breakfast. The owners Jane & Kevin made us feel as if we were visiting in a friend's home. Our room was spacious and had a lovely seating area, the bed was comfortable, and the bathroom had plenty of room. There was a lovely garden with tables and seats for relaxing, which our room looked out on. Parking was easy and inside their gate. The wifi was easy to use and secure, a television was available, and a refrigerator with fresh milk and water for making tea or coffee in your room. Jane's breakfast had lots of choices - and could not have been more tasty! Slinfold was nearby - and Jane's directions made it easy to find the property. This was an absolutely beautiful, relaxing, and comfortable place to stay. Our favorite of our travels!

Location absolutely gorgeous - stunning views and beautiful gardens. Very relaxed and homely feel. Breakfast was lovely - a lot of choice. Nice fresh fruit and lovely cooked breakfast very tasty. Hosts were so friendly and attentive and nice to chat with. Bedroom was very spacious and comfortable to relax in. The bed was divine - so comfy, didn't want to get out of it in the morning! Beautiful surroundings and gardens and areas to sit out in. We sat and enjoyed a relaxing coffee in the morning in a seating area outside overlooking beautiful views - a lovely precious moment before going on to a hectic family wedding day. Lovely daily greeting from the resident adorable springer spaniel!

The property is in a beautiful location in the Sussex countryside. Spacious and very clean with added extras. Jane & Kevin are very friendly and have thought of everything. Excellent breakfast.
