I didn’t like there wasn’t a headboard as the bed moved when sitting up watching tv. Also not enough pillows.

    Location and breakfast was great

The extortionate £25 parking. I got a parking space 1 minute walk away for just £9

Upgraded to a larger modern room. The bed was huge and comfy. Staff were very polite and helpful. So the usual quality in room bits and pieces.

Only 1 lift was working which caused some delay at times including sometimes arriving full & you couldn't fit on. We were on the 8th floor so not great.

Room was lovely, clean & spacious. Every member of staff we encountered were really pleasant & helpful. Location was great for an event at the 02 Apollo, easy walk.

We had booked a twin room for one night for £210 including breakfast. The initial room we were allocated #219 was a very old run down room. It actually smelled, the carpet was wrinkled, they had removed a double and put in 2 single beds that were different sizes but pushed up against each wall with a narrow gap between them. Therefore there was no bedside tables and the wall lights that are normally either side of the bed were directly above the pillows on each bed. We went back to reception and they were very understanding and they allocated us another room on the 7th floor which is classed as a deluxe double double. Only 1 of 2 lifts were working which meant a long wait up and down but whole hotel is being renovated.

Breakfast was very very good. Even had an omelette station which was very busy!

Getting to the hotel car park was quite difficult and I had to ring the hotel for directions. Also I wasn’t aware of the £25 charge for parking.

Lovely staff, lovely room and breakfast was delicious.

1 lift wasn’t working which made for a long wait for the working lift which everyone was using. Due to refurb & scaffolding outside, the main entrance wasn’t as obvious and didn’t feel signage to it was obvi

The staff were all so lovely and professional. Bed was one of the comfiest I’ve ever slept in - struggled to get out of bed. Also loved the proximity to Piccadilly train station.

It will be better when the construction is finished but we didn't find it a disturbance. The dining room was very busy at breakfast and we had a short wait for cutlery

Hotel is nice. there is some construction work going on but overall hotel is maintained to a high standard. Room was nice and spacious. Bathroom excellent. We found everything we needed for our stay. Breakfast was included in the price & was enjoyable, with plenty of choice and everything we tried was good. We found the places that we wanted to visit within reasonable walking distance

The lack of food choices. The restaurant menu was limited in option and was for a certain clientele (££) and the bar menu was limited, but also difficult to eat as the tables were so low.

The staff were very friendly and had excellent knowledge on the area.

Lack of signage. The building it’s undergoing renovations and access to the front entrance was confusing and unsigned as it was hidden by scaffolding and temporary paneling. Access to the dining room from downstairs was also unsigned. It wasn’t clear you had to go up a flight of stairs to access the dining room. Better signage please, especially during your renovations.c

The buffet breakfast was very good and the dining room staff welcoming, friendly and attentive.

We were there the day the new breakfast location was opened, but the signage was poor. The signs for the old location were still up but there was no new signage. Had to ask staff what happened to breakfast and then they told us to go to a completely different location.

Location was easy from the train station. Staff was friendly. Room was very comfortable.

Pleasant, excellent shower, breakfast, spacious room; spoiled a little by lack of bedside table

Newly-refurbished family room had 2 beds; bedside table, including sockets, between them, but nothing on the other side of either bed, meaning one of us didn't have a place to put a book, a glass of water, a phone while charging. Why wasn't that thought about during refurbishment design? - it's basic!

Breakfast. Shower. Location - next door to the event we went for. Most of experience of the room. Free upgrade from double to family room, with more space than we'd paid for
