The hut we had was not comfortable atall no bedding you have to hire sleeping bags which is not ideal after a day's hiking and the showers and toilets were abit away from you which was a inconvenience

The location was lovely the hotel itself and the food were fine

The pod was adequate in size but with a broken blind lacked privacy. The shower and toilet facilities were limited for the number of pods and camping. At £94 I don't feel it was good value money.

Limited accommodation for walkers at this key point on the WHW so valuable in its location. Accepting that the hotel was full a pod was the only option.

The pod was small you couldn’t sit down any where, the beds had no bedding just plastic sheeting. The bunks were not made for adults sleeping above you. The showers needed updating

“Kabin” we had had a leak because of the rain. Small heater not good enough for size of cabin. The purchase of bedding was a sleeping bag and liner (which wasn’t included in the price)

Not the hotels fault, but on our second night we had 2 campers who decided to set up there tents leaning up against our cabin. Throughout the night I was awoken by them and this also set our dog off as it unsettled him. There could be more toilets and they are in need of some updating.

The food in the hotel was very good and so were the staff. The views of the lock and surrounding area were stunning. We managed to see wild stags on our stay also.

Lack of outside lights around toilets. Only 2 toilets, one didn’t flush, the other had no toilet paper. One shower had no light. Decking outside cabin was broken. Neither rooms had a remote control for the TV. Cups were dirty. Booked 2 rooms, one with a double and a single bed but cabin had 2 sets of bunk beds instead.

Location. Comfy beds, cosy cabins. Tea making facilities.

The main challenge with the stay was that the lights in the bathroom didn't work and the shower facilities for the cabins were not operating. We ended up having to bird bath in sinks. The drying room was also not available but they did help us by putting some of outdoor clothing in their dryer.

The staff are nice and do their best to help however on the night we were there they appeared understaffed for managing both the accommodation and an event that was going on. Due to the event the bar was exceptionally busy and noisy.

Toilets/showers were barely working or not working at all. We stayed in a cabin where we slept in a sleeping bag ( which we had to rent apparently ) on plastic mattresses.

    Friendly staff.

The kitchen wasn’t well equipped. The cabin floor was dirty. The toilets were too far from the cabins. It wasn’t good value for money.

Go to reception; nobody there. Go to bar instead; no staff there. Sit and wait outside reception for a while, eventually a receptionist arrives and explains that reception isn't for checkins, I have to go to the bar instead, obviously... After getting the key to my shed, it was warm and clean. I realised there's no bedding (pay attention to the small print), but the bar staff rented me a basic sleeping bag. All through the night I was woken by gnawing sounds; some kind of rodent trying to get into my shed. Be careful in the showers - for some reason, they have a slippery tile which slopes down away from the shower to a sharp step. Sooner or later that will hurt somebody. But at least there was hot water.

Great views out over the loch. Convenient location for hikers & bikers. There's a bar. They're open even when the rest of Kinlochleven is closed for winter. There are also kitchen facilities in a separate shed - they might be depressing, but there's a functional sink, microwave, & kettle. You didn't come to Kinlochleven for five-star luxury; you came for the landscape, and that is definitely here.

Some maintenance work needed. Plug socket loose, blind not working in cabin, lock very stiff, no soap in toilets. Would have been fine if had been cheaper but at £80 a night would have expected a bit higher standard.

Compact, lots of facilities like drying rooms and resteraunt. Stunning view. Everything clean and tidy. Helpful staff.

Breakfasts at 12.50 was very poor, and very little choice. The bar used to have a good atmosphere especially when there was a sporting event on but although the rugby was on the sound was off and they now have a gin steele in the way of part of the screen. Lots of bits broken around the place like door handles in the showers, locks on the toilet. Also someone came into the cabin and decided to plug the heater back in and hot boxed the room on what was already a warm day. Would suggest managing the cabins as cabins and not trying to have them like hotel rooms. No need for tvs and tea and coffee but that's just my opinion.

Location exceptional. Room was mostly comfortable and the actual shower had plenty of hot water and space.
