Phil and Karen(hosts) most wonderful people, as much as how new and clean the accommodation was. They really looked out for me, especially when I struggled to get a cab to the venue, Phil came and actually picked me up. Definitely looking to come back to this accom under these hosts, and the views are scenic as well. I wish I could give it more than a 10/10 rating!

I like how in the middle of everything the location is 40mins drive to some very good lakes and hikes, it's a brilliant and clean stay the accommodation is lovely and the hosts are amazing and very friendly also very willing to help

The accommodation has everything you could ask for plus more. We would recommend it plus a great location. It was just what we all needed for friends to catch up and chill for a long weekend away.

Accommodation was perfect, so this is in no way a reflection on that. I would just say that unless you’re happy to drive for days out etc (which we were so was fine for us), there isn’t anything on site for non drivers. But location was perfect for us for getting about the north west lakes!

A beautifully furnished and maintained holiday home, by far and away the nicest I’ve stayed in. Very much felt like a home from home compared to your standard Haven caravan etc. Lovely personal touches by the owners and met us to offer advice, recommendations and check we had everything we needed.

Excellent accommodation in a perfect area. The views were exceptional. The facilities were great. The lodge had absolutely everything you needed. Great hairdryer also straighteners even down to a pizza wheel and Alexa. The hosts were really lovely and very helpful. There aren't enough stars to rate this lovely lodge. We will definitely recommend it. We hope to return later in the year.

The lodge was great - it had everything that you could need. The location was perfect for visiting lots of different places within the Lakes as well as being able to see Skiddaw. The hosts Phil and Karen are very welcoming and the Lakes cakes are an added bonus. We would definitely return.

Stunning property, lovely and spacious had all the stuff we needed, the views are amazing. The owners are absolutely brilliant, during our stay we got caught up in some heavy snow and couldn’t make the drive into the town for bits and bobs, Phil went out of his way to run us down in his 4x4. Honestly one of the nicest places Ives stayed in the UK. Would highly recommend without any hesitation!

This is probably more personal preference than a dislike. I found the mattress was too uneven and I struggled too sleep. Again that is probably more personal preference as I am sure it wouldn't be a problem for others.

Everything was great! Caravan was extremly clean and felt more like a home than a Caravan. Had everything you needed, would recommend it too any one! The view from the desking is beautiful!

Everything was just perfect. We only had a couple of nights in the caravan but would of loved to have stayed longer,. If we visit the Lake District again we will definitely return. We've also recommended it to family and friends, since arriving back home Thanks Karen 😊
