Sorting out the parking voucher was a little bit tricky, but once done was straightforward.

We chose this hotel for its proximity to Lulworth cove, and it was lovely to be able to stroll down to the beach in the early morning and late afternoon. The scenery is quite stunning. The Inn has been tastefully renovated and has a lively pub vibe. The staff were very friendly and helpful and went out for their way to make our stay comfortable. Our room was charming and comfortable, with hot shower, comfy bed and space to spread out. The food was very tasty and well cooked, I heartily recommend the Beef pie. This would be a perfect place for couples to escape for a few days.

One of the restaurant staff in the inn was not very helpful. She told us that we can sit anywhere and one of them will get our order. After more that 30 minutes of waiting, still no one was getting our order. I approached her collegue and she said that the table where we sat is not for dinning that's why no one was approaching to get our order (to think that the menu was on top of the table with utensils and condiments as well). We were not informed by the person whom we approached the first time that it was the case and she saw us sit on that table as well.

The place was well maintained and most of the staff are welcoming and approachable. The place is accessible to where we wanted to go.

It’s an old property, so noise is a bit of a problem at night, especially when the young ‘uns are in party mode

Parking charges, I was over charged and I think it should have been offered as complimentary. Bathroom door was glass. Lack of privacy !!!!!!!! Come on guys , you don’t need to blindly follow every fashion fad ! Breakfast buffet choice was limited.

Only a small thing but the avocado on toast was really disappointing - maybe some seasoning and olive oil, chilli flakes instead of raw chillies and then salt and pepper on top. The side salads at dinner could have used a bit of seasoning and some olive oil as well.

Room was spacious and comfortable. After a cold, wet walk used the bath and it was glorious! Breakfast buffet was delicious - especially the pastries! Staff were fantastic - helpful, friendly and patient.

The whole experience was great. We came for my partner's birthday with our puppy and the time we spent in the inn was perfect, we got a spacious room with a seaside view for cheaper than what you can get for a tiny room with no windows in Central London. The WiFi was surprisingly good, the whole area gets no signal so to have a good internet connection was an added bonus; TV had built in YouTube, Netflix etc which is helpful for when the rain rolls in. The food was good and the staff seemed happy to be there. We will be back!

Absolutely nothing.

Everything from start to finish was perfect. Could not recommend the Lulworth Cove Inn any higher. From the moment you check in the staff are friendly and knowledgeable, the property is beautifully maintained and the location is wonderful. We had breakfast, lunch and dinner during our stay and all were fantastic.

Always difficult to rate value when travelling as a single person but paying for a double room.

Our room, being at the end of the corridor had no access to the WiFi or telephony communication.

Room - Toilet seat loose and toilet flush very poor. Restaurant - disappointing in a number of areas. Steak very tough and poor quality (and couple on adjacent table had same issue and complained). Service friendly but never cleared used glasses / mixer bottles which accumulated during meal. Buffet breakfast limited, and a lack of plates and glasses. Cooked breakfast (full english) was OK but nothing special.

Staff were great, and the room was comfortable and as expected.

Just needed a little guidance on arrival at breakfast in the morning. How it worked, self service/ordering, etc. T'was a lovely breakfast though.

A wonderful welcome from Ben, who showed us to our room, very helpful indeed. Fantastic rooms, lovely views, good communication prior to visit with pre-prepared parking info. Amazing evening meal on site, not far to go. Perfect spot for walking the SWCP with local knowledge help from staff. Excellent!!
