It is an older building and the windows are of age too, so you can hear cars passing very well, might be trouble for light sleepers. The place could surely need some renovation, but it was clean and cosy one just has to be prepared for a bit older standard.

The host was really nice and we did feel welcome at all times, the breakfast was good too. The place has a nice atmosphere and a cosy vibe to it. The location is perfect for sightse in Killin and day trips to Glencoe area.

The room could have been warmer. The heating was not really working the best and we went the first week of January. We didn't report it at the time but I'm sure they would have done something as they were very accommodating.

Food was great and so the company and the location. Overall we had a great experience.

Stayed for two nights, but they didn't clean our room or our tea cups for our second night stay. Neither did they replace the tea and coffee we used on our first night,so had no hot drinks on our 2nd night !

    Breakfast was excellent.

Room was a bit small because we had our dog with us but had everything we needed for our short stay. Wouldn't put us off booking again.

Received a very warm welcome from the lovely gentleman behind the bar. The location is lovely and quiet. Food was delicious.

Friendly, humorous staff. Delicious food. Fabulous location - wide open fields, roaming sheep and cattle, purple flowers all around. All you need to do is walk out the door and start wandering.

Basic no-frills bathroom and beds a bit old but perfectly acceptable for 1 or 2 nights for £100/night.

Great breakfast, good bar downstairs with wide selection of whisky and friendly staff. Nice location to access Killin for walks etc.

Those stairs to the top floor are quit steep and not sure I would manage them if was much older, would have to book a downstairs room.

Although was not booked in for dinner was able to eat in the evening, great food and warm friendly staff. Location is rural with some beautiful views. It was a stop over as was travelling onto somewhere else but would consider having an holiday there in the future.

Beds are a bit too weak.

Almost 500 year old building with very intresting atmosphere and nice surrounding. We stayed one night on our way from Skye to Edinburgh. It was a plus that you just stop next to the road and park your car with Option of dinner and breakfast. Bar inside the hotel. The room was very clean.

The interiors/carpet were a little dated. Didn't mind it suited our needs well.

Traditional Scottish breakfast w/trimmings was delicious. Owner/Chef was very accommodating.
