Noise from the street, could do with double glazing.

The bathroom sink was seriously blocked and we had to wait 5 minutes each time it was used to allow the water to drain away. We were unable to close one of the kitchen windows because the handle was completely broken prior to us arriving. We couldn’t find a Tea towel to use to manually wash up although there was a dishwasher but we weren’t familiar with it so we washed up manually & I had to buy a tea towel. We were provided with insufficient toilet paper for the length of our stay so I had to buy some more. I could only watch BBC channels on the TV as all the other channels I tried on the Freeview provided had no signal!

The apartment was very spacious & in a good location. It had lots of amenities too. The king size bed was wonderful as was the large bedroom.

We encountered an issue with the sofa bed collapsing every time weight was added to the end of the bed. Additionally, we couldn't find the light switch to turn off the light above the sofa bed, which disrupted the kids' sleep during the night. It would be helpful if instructions for check-in and directions to pick up the apartment key were sent to guests via email or SMS, as I was primarily checking those platforms aside from booking.com.

I really liked how clean and modern the apartment was. It had all the amenities for an enjoyable stay. Plus, the location was great.

We had a lot of luggage and our apartment was on the top floor - big walk up and down.

It would have been helpful to know prior to booking that the keys were to be collected from a different location - maybe this could be included in the booking description to make it clear - It was a bit of a nuisance with luggage! We had an issue with the sofa bed which I contacted the host about but didn't get a response. The extendable part of the bed was broken on arrival and we had to improvise on sleeping arrangements as there was four of us. Just be aware the windows are all single glazed and being in the hear of the centre it is extremely noisy throughout the night - wasn't so much of an issue for us but could be for others! The shower and sink in the bathroom also make an awful noise when being used.

The neighbourhood is awful and extremely noisy. nearby gym with very loud music starts at 6:20 in the morning and Tapas bar underneath plays the exactly same play record all day ling till late evening. Horrible experience. drug addicts everywhere

The apartment was not up to the standard expected for such a price. There were no toiletries, there weren’t enough towels, the bedding for 4 people wasn’t readily available and we had to search for it ourselves, we found used and wet towels piled up in the wardrobe (falling out of the wardrobe), the taps were making an awful noise when used, the shower drain seemed blocked and would fill with water, the dishwasher was not working, the blinds are all broken and don’t open and one set don’t close which makes it very difficult to sleep comfortably in the room, and there were no amenities provided apart from coffee pods which were the wrong pods for the machine in this apartment.

The location was excellent and check in / check out was very sufficient and straightforward. Communication with the host was superb

For the price our expectation was that the apartment would have a little more included, e.g. tea towels (after washing up nothing to dry up with), no towel hooks in bathroom, more wear and tear visible than would have expected. Having to collect and return keys from a shop and carrying our luggage was a bit of a nuisance. Toiletries looked like someone had left them, rather than being left as standard. If the price had been a bit more reasonable then these niggles would have been expected, but for quite an expensive two nights, in previous accommodation we have stayed in, more pristine decoration and additions included around small things like tea towels, clothes, toiletries, tea/coffee facilities even a small welcome snack pack has become an expectation at a more pricey accommodation.

Central location was really good, apartment was clean and bed comfy.

single glazed windows which mean you hear EVERYTHING outside. Was hard to sleep the Friday and Saturday night we was there. BE WEARY USING THE LIFT! we got stuck in the lift and the person on the emergency phone said a lift engineer was 2.5 hours away; how is that acceptable? we had to call the fire brigade to rescue us. this is not the hosts fault but just be careful.

A bit noisy during night because the property was located in the middle of the city surrounded by the restaurants and pubs.

Location was fantastic. House facilities were well maintained and clean. Everything went smoothly.

Only downside is I found the sofa bed was not very comfortable for me.

Excellent location, apartment had everything we needed, the bed in the bedroom was very comfortable and there was a cake, card and balloons for my sister as we visited Brighton for my sisters birthday and that was a lovely touch, thank you!

wifi didn’t work and tv also had no channels, luckily didn’t need to use them that much as we were out most of the days, we wanted to be able to play a bit of music from the TV when we were getting ready to go out for example but couldn’t do that. although it was very clean and tidy, there was a bit of a smell (maybe mould?)

Found it difficult to find the entrance so maybe more clear instructions could be given with the address? I was in a bit of a rush so didn’t help, probably partly my fault to be fair!

There were giant patches of mould on the walls and ceilings. Property offered us a late checkout as compensation (which we had already paid for). In the end booking.com transferred us a 10% refund due to the mould.
