the room was great but the toilet in our room had a cistern leak so was trickling all night ;( easy to fix we went for a balcony but my wife is scared of spiders and there were loads of spider nests that should have been cleaned away

convenient for shops and restaurants. the pub was very nice with a garden and heaters

No door to shower meaning floor was flooded after. Carpet leading to the rooms looked out of place with the rest of the clean and fresh surroundings. It looked like someone had spilt various drinks or other questionable liquids throughout the downstairs corridor

Breakfast - awful! despite telling staff we had to leave sharp to catch a ferry to the isle of wight it took ages. had to chase them up and when it arrived almost inedible. could not cut through the mushroom and the poached eggs were hard. how can you mess this up. what a shame and def not worth the money

When we checked in we went out for a bit before finding our room.on coming back over an hour later there was still the previous people’s room service tray on the floor outside our door.considering house keeping had been ,they could have had staff remove this.not a great first impression when getting to our room. Breakfast is too over priced.at £12.95 I’d expect allot more considering local cafes are offering a full English with tea/coffee for £8.typical of its location down south prices.that being said the option for breakfast were great compared to the solent next door.better value for money at parsons for breakfast. Young staff don’t seem to be bothered in the evening.waited 40 minutes for our starters and all the food just came together ,two girls dumped it on the table,and not even an apology when I’d been to the bar and asked after 30 minutes if they forgot about our order.staff in the solent are always great but parsons needs staff training on customer service.stayed here a few times and always been let down eating there. Bathroom needs more attention on cleaning.shower head covered in lime scales and tiles need a scrub.ofher than that no complaints on house keeping.

We only had boiling hot water, no cold. Meant we couldn’t wash our 5 month old. Nor could we make a cold cup of water. No staff around to be able to notify. We stayed for 2 nights and our tea/coffee was not restocked. Very limited on this. Restaurant opens at 8am which is not helpful when you have a baby who needs feeding a lot earlier.

Super clean and fresh looking rooms. Bed was comfy. Shower so powerful great pressure.

Check in & out took quite a while as this is located in the bar so the colleagues are also serving bar customers

The room was very modern, a great size and the shower was amazing! Very comfortable bed and everything needed like iron, ironing board and hairdryer was provided

There was a problem with the hot water supply when we stayed but we were allowed to use the nearby (over the car park) hotel spa facilities to compensate.

Great little hotel with very helpful staff. The set up is basic but excellent value for money. Modern rooms which are very clean and large, great shower, good wifi. Breakfast is very good and the room service allows bar food and drinks to the room - we stayed with a baby and this was very helpful.

Not really the property but a group of guests appeared to be trashing a room above us and despite being told by management they continued to be v v noisy and disruptive up until 02.00 am.

Staff excellent - especially at breakfast and in dealing with a group of very disruptive guests.
