The room was dark and smelt very damp, our bed was two singles pushed together which was not that comfortable as a couple. But for the price it was very good

We arrived a little early and Meg at reception checked us in right away. The room was lovely and comfortable. It was a pretty hot day, so they provided us a really powerful fan for the room. Staff were so friendly, they asked if we had any plans during our stay and whether we needed any recommendations for restaurants/activities etc.

I feel the shower needs sorting out. The showerscreen doesn't go the length of the tray. with it being a waterfall shower. It literally floods the floor creating a trip hazard (could do with an anti slip matt

Cleanliness of the room wasn’t brilliant. There was plastic wrappers on the floor from previous people and under the sheets the mattress was stained.

The hotel is a little tired and needs a good brighten up

We liked the locality to parking, shops and restaurants. The ease of check in The friendly staff day and night The hotel had a bar with a fabulous band in the evening Breakfast although not included in the price was delicious The bed was extremely comfy and the shower was brilliant

There was nothing really, if there had been, I'm sure the staff would have put it right.

The staff were fantastic,the room was great with a comfortable bed. Very close to everything we wanted to see and do on our visit as well as an added bonus of great live music in the bar on Saturday night.

Consider offering bar snacks. A more rigorous pre check in room check would make sure that the attention to detail is maintained. Our en suite extraction fan was broken, a bedside lamp missing, and several of the blind slats broken. Easy to fix. Grace who saw to our check in was exceptional. Warm and welcoming. The owner - less so. Lastly - read the messages your customers send and answer them. It’s part and parcel of being exceptional in the service industry.

There has clearly been a lot of thought that went into the creation of this hotel - which is evident in the attention to detail and great decor. It would be good to maintain this - as there is evidence of some of those elements needing some loving upkeep.

the room looked onto a wall so not much natural light, but we were only in the room in the evening so it wasn't an issue and the room otherwise was very comfortable.

A great find in central Liverpool. Cosy, comfortable, staff friendly and helpful. Terrific location, loads of restaurants, pubs, transport in the vicinity. Great value for money, would definately stay here again.

The location of the hotel is fantastic - very close to the harbour area and shops . Staff are very customer-centric and went above and beyond to try and assist us. It made a very stressful travel day so pleasant.

If you have difficulty climbing stairs don't book the room we got - top floor in eaves. There are a lot of stairs to reach there. A Mirror in the bedroom would be a good idea - there is nothing to use to style hair etc. A small unit in bathroom would also be good - nowhere to put toiletries except a very small shelf. A light by the bed would be helpful - the light is on the opposite side of room and involves some groping around to find the bed in the dark!

The Hotel was in an excellent location, very close to city centre and Albert Docks. The staff were all super friendly and helpful Bar area is lovely - cocktail specials very welcome! Breakfast was superb - with great choice Room was a good size and the bathroom light and airy with comfortable bed Very clean and well kept Good value for money
