There was a couple of things with the apartment itself that sadly did disappoint a little, And there’s definitely some modifications and improvements that need to be made Broken glass window, Quite a few cracked tiles and marks and broken chipped paint and wood work etc. Just a bit more run down than i’d expected from the pictures. But i think generally just wear and tear over time. Couldn’t quite manage to get the Tv to work in bathroom but it didn’t bother us too much, but if that’s something that sways you i’d deffo recommend contacting them if you have issues i’m sure they’d have helped. upon check out Jo did message to check in that everything was okay and explained they are undergoing continuous changes since taking over, so i think there’s the potential for it to be really great. Security deposit was returned promptly after check out.

Before arrival we had messages from Jo, who was dealing with our booking to make sure we knew exactly what we needed to do and go which was really lovely. She met us on arrival and was super helpful and friendly, Gave us lots of recommendations and information for our stay. She was wonderful. Overall the apartment was clean and tidy. The bath was a wonderful size and super relaxing Towels were provided also, Really comfortable bed. Lovely clean and fresh bedding. Local shops and food places which was great as we didn’t want to drive around. Parking was available for us on site.

A bit of wear and tear and a few lights not working.

Apartment really comfortable, heaters warm up rooms to comfortable temperatures, sofas and bed comfortable, good facilities, host easily contactable and responsive.

Read the small print! I was not expecting to be told 24 hours before we were due to stay that there is a £100 safety/damage deposit to be paid. It was refunded as we left but was really confused when I was told about this. Maybe my own fault though for not reading the small print 🫢🤣

The room we stayed on was amazing and met my expectations, I booked the £30 anniversary package and was not disappointed when we entered the room. The host were amazingly helpful and they have only just taken over the property. The renovations have already started to bring an already good venue up to much more higher standards and will look forward to returning once they have been completed 🙃

The main reason we booked an apartment at this place was for the jacuzzi. After filling it as directed by the host, we ended up with freezing cold water in it, then had to wait around an hour for the water to heat up again before finishing the filling of the jacuzzi. In the end it was still too cold to sit in and we gave up. We weren’t happy about this at all. If you’re wanting to stay somewhere with a jacuzzi we don’t recommend this at all. Not convenient and doesn’t actually work how it should.

We were welcomed upon arrival and showed to our room. The host recommended food places too. The host also sent us a video on how to work the facilities and directions. We found this very helpful. The whole apartment we stayed in was very clean and the towels and bedding smelt fresh. We were impressed with the cleanliness.

Our only downfall was the broken window and we was staying on the ground floor with access to our room from outside. We couldn’t leave any valuables in our room and at night I’m a very paranoid person so I kept waking up

Some of the lights didn’t work. The tv in the bath the remote for the tv, the volume buttons didn’t work. It was temperamental to use. Some of the cups and bowls were dirty

The bed, the bed cover was burned with cigarettes. Had to go to asda and buy the bed set and change it. Also the room had cigarette smell, opened the window and doors to get the unpleasant smell out. The entire area didn’t seem safe and clean. There was lack of facilities in the kitchen, such as glasses, plates and silverware. In the bathroom there was lack of toiletries.

could do with new pans in the kitchen as they were all burnt out apart from a frying pan so we didn’t really get use of the kitchen itself and preferably new cutlery. the mattress was a bit too hard for me. but apart from that was a lovely apartment.

nice private hot tub perfect for couples private entrance and exit from the room free parking on premises if there’s enough bays kitchen available and fridge kettle but there was no tea bags or coffee or milk.
