We had a budget room that was showing signs of wear and tear but this did not detract from our stay and the room was well appointed.

Good location in Cardiff near the park and castle. Parking facilities and breakfast were good. Location is very quiet despite being in the city. Overall, It was value for money.

The number of stairs - but that seems to be a very British thing. Need handrails in the bath to assist with getting in and out.

The hospitality was fabulous. The staff were amazing and accommodating as the car park was very full - they allowed us to double park and leave our keys for them to move the car. Staff were interactive and made us feel at home. Breakfast was lovely and catered for gluten free.

Lovely clean room and fantastic cooked breakfast. Also located next to a beautiful park for a scenic walk to the castle. All staff were really helpful. I highly recommend this hotel.

On the second morning one member of staff was disrespectful when bringing my cooked breakfast. I hadn't finished my cereal when my cooked breakfast was brought and when I said I'd not finished she stood there till I let her put it down. She walked away and then came back and said "would you like it under the grill till you're ready". If she'd suggested that first instead of standing over me till I moved my bowl I would be fine. Her attitude makes me not want to return!

The food was great on both days. The staff was great the first morning but one member was ignorant the second morning.

Everything about our stay was really good: friendly staff; spacious, comfortable, clean and well equipped room; and a delicious breakfast. A very cozy place to stay if you want to stay a bit far from the busy area, but just a walk-distance from the city centre.

Really lovely hotel close to the city centre. The staff were very helpful and friendly and the facilities terrific. Breakfast was very nice and the staff were very attentive. Would stay here again in a heartbeat.
