Everything about our stay was really good: friendly staff; spacious, comfortable, clean and well equipped room; and a delicious breakfast. A very cozy place to stay if you want to stay a bit far from the busy area, but just a walk-distance from the city centre.

Not the property’s fault at all however someone in the room behind us was talking loudly for what seemed like hours late at night 😩… it’s difficult to determine at what level to complain …

I had no idea what to expect as I chose on the basis of proximity to Sophia Gardens. The street is full of solid, well built, late 19th Century villas, one of which is Lincoln House. The rooms are well proportioned and have been tastefully furnished and maintained. Breakfast was filling with a range of items from which to select - but make you sure you obey the timings. The property is not far from the city centre, walkable without luggage, a short taxi or bus ride away. The hosts were helpful and knowledgeable.

Lovely little stay, came for a concert and the hotel was so much better than we expected given we booked very last minute. Room was clean and up to date, staff were nice and breakfast was great, we didn't even realise it was included! Will come back if we return :))

Beautiful traditional place, piped classical music with breakfast and served on bone China. Really traditional and really good quality, very reasonable too, would definitely recommend. 💯

Had the suite on the top floor with kitchen and living area and it was perfect . A lovely old property but with all facilities in the modern suite that we needed Great location too and free parking Staff very helpful and very good breakfast

Very accommodating, able to check in early as we were going to the rugby and would not be back till late evening. Space to park was a bonus as Cardiff very busy on game day .

We liked everything about the property.

The interior of the hotel looks like a victorian house. It is very clean as well. We enjoyed our free breakfast. We were very delighted as there was a parking area at the rear of the hotel which was very convenient.

Only one downside it's advertised as having a bar which is no longer the case if we'd asked before going out what time the bar served until we would have known but we came back straight after having an evening meal expecting to have a drink in the bar but we settled for the tea/coffee and biscuits supplied in the room 😀

Location really good for walking into city. Car park at rear really useful. The whole hotel is absolutely sparkling clean! Breakfast was bountiful, well presented and very tasty. Staff efficient and friendly.

We went out in the evening for food and bowling, came back about 11pm to find the gate to the carpark had been locked shut so it took us an additional half hour to find somewhere else to park. Packed breakfast stuff away a bit too early

Friendly man on reception and ladies at breakfast, room was lovely and modern with the Victorian feel and bed was super comfy
