We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.

United KingdomNo towels! Floors and walls were thin - not ideal for light sleepers. No hot water upstairs at night (they said they will fix this). Upstairs bathroom has locked door leading to another room - bit strange. Front door lock took a bit of practice - instructions needed for new guests!
Good size double room with sofa and wardrobe, spacious shared bathroom upstairs. Shared kitchen was also well stocked with cutlery and tableware. Pillows were full and comfy. Great price mid-week for the location. 11:00am checkout if you need to sleep in.

United KingdomI came in and got out of the property after 15 mins. Freezing cold as no central heating is available at the property - same temperature as outside so you will have to sleep in your clothes during winter. It’s too cold to be able to shower as well unless you fancy 2 degrees dip. Found mouse droppings under the mattress, sheets had marks on them. Rubbish behind the bed with some mince pie casings and takeaway forks. Rooms and corridors have a lot of cheap scents dotted around which makes it hard to breathe any fresh air (despite cold draft) - beware if you have asthma. Place might be bearable in the summer but absolute no go during winter.
The price was good. Some areas were cleaned.

United KingdomRoom information clearly stated that it would be a private bathroom (it wasn't). Tried to contact them via email or the three mobile numbers provided but no response. Bath/shower was not cleaned in the week I was there. Used plasters left in the bath and on the floor. No towel. Room info said slippers. None provided. Walls were so thin that you hear every door open, even noises from room across the wall, or bathroom usage noise. Plugs situated behind sofa or behind the foot of the bed. Kitchen had no trays for the oven only pans. Shared fridge on honour system. As they didn't provide milk for the coffee provided someone else used the milk I purchased even when I labelled it. Never met anyone who worked there (keys left in a lock box outside). If I did they didn't identify themselves.
Spacious wardrobe. Coffee/tea and pickle provided, but no milk. When I bought some even labelled it others used it. Movable electric heater had a timer, so could set it come one before I thought I'd be back 10-15 minutes from nearest Aldi/Asda, many takeaways or corner shops/off license. 10 minutes from main bus route. 20 mins from train station.

The cherry on top was finding bugs in the bathtub. Only stayed that one night and changed accomodations the next day. Was reimbursed a little.

United KingdomI was charged £4.50 extra for a private bathroom and I didn’t have one had to share a bathroom with other guests when I asked the manager he told me it was Booking .com which I knew it was not as I received a text after booking asking for would I like a private bathroom for £4.50 which I paid also no towels provided they should have stated that saying no towels provided which I told the manager but I had to go out and buy some before we could shower it I a health and hygiene issue with Covid going around again could not wash hands they did have a small bottle of hand sanitizer but I would have preferred to wash hands thoroughly if it was stated there was no towels provided it would not have been a problem
