Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.

We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

United KingdomLack of staff in the bar area tried to get food when we arrived and gave up one person serving. The rooms, while large and comfortable on this occasion, both our room & our 2nd family room the shower flooded the bathroom we did ask for it to be resolved & someone did visit our room but no follow up & it wasn't fixed all the went towels left in the bathroom no replacements provided we had to ask.

AustraliaThere should be a option to get a blanket for the bed instead of a duvet. Far too hot. Not a good location if the weather is poor. The shower is terrible! It squirts everywhere except where you want it to.

IrelandThe majority of staff look terribly unhappy and quite unhelpful. We did meet some friendly staff, but they were in the minority. Major issues with key card not working throughout our stay. Frustratingly, we had to return to the reception area on numerous occasions to recode the key card. One of the lifts was out of service so this issue took up a lot of time.

United KingdomThe rubbish bin hadn't been cleared from the previous guest. The shampoo and conditioner dispensers in the shower were empty and the hairdryer didn't work. The mini bar was locked and you had to phone reception with a credit card just to see what was in it (I didn't bother).
The Leonardo TB gets the fundamentals right. Comfortable bed, quiet room, a smart tv that is simple to use and a good coffee machine. The pool and gym are great and open from early morning until 10pm.

United KingdomA shower head in the bathroom. I wish it can be moved around rather than being static. The water was splashing all over the place, even through a shower curtain. Also, mini fridge was not accessible.
A lovely swimming pool, nice spa area. Also, a spacious bedroom and my son enjoyed the game room - table tennis, pool table, etc. Friendly service at the downstairs bar, overall a pleasant stay and a good value for money.
