Location of our room was next to the events area. Event was very loud passed midnight. Coffee machine was couldn't handle the number of uses.

Very friendly staff. Clean room with lovely daily service. Breakfast buffet was plentiful. And the location was central for walking. Bare in mind the city is large and you would need to take transport to the water front area, St. Fagan, a couple of castles and the gin tasting.

Slightly uncomfortable bed, pillows too thick. A lot of external noise that the windows are unable to filter out - especially one shop alarm that was sounding continuously on both nights we stayed.

nice room, comfy bed, nice selection for breakfast Ellie who works at the bar in the evening and morning for breakfast staff, was lovely. Staff like Ellie would bring us also back to stay at this hotel. what we look for is friendly staff welcoming too good breaksfast and nice room. location is also a plus

At check in we were allocated a family room[double bed on right and single bed on the left] The room was also very dark as there was ahigh wall 'directly outside the window, we were very disappointed. I had booked and paid for a twin room. After negotiating at reception we were swiftly allocated a light airy single room.

We found one member of staff particularly helpful [ Matilda] as she helped us with our luggage as we could leave them at the hotel because we were too early for check in and also to leave them at the hotel after check out, she also help us with the taxi. Matilda came across courteous cheerful and genuine. We also enjoyed the selection of breakfast,

Conveniently situated to shops and bars. Lovely spacious room with comfortable super king bed. Breakfast was buffet style with plenty of choice and the food was hot. Staff were very helpful, checking in and out went smoothly.

The bar closed at 11 on the night we were staying, it would have been nice to have a couple of drinks after our evening out, but we could only buy one then it closed.

Our room was available on arrival, very clean, offered plenty of space, and the extra large bed was extremely comfortable. We were given a free upgrade on arrival, which was very welcome. The reception staff were lovely, really warm, welcoming and helpful. Good breakfast. Great hotel, great central location, reasonably priced.

It was a bit run down in places the furniture is a bit old, everything could just be updated

Due to its central location it was too noisy at night. Groups of youths, drunk people shouting, etc and this was all night. 2nd night add music from a hotel function until midnight. The building is old so all the floors are squeaky making it noisy. My 1st room had loud machinery noise within the hotel next to it, sounded like a plant room, plus in the room a large ( dinner plate size) bright green night which disturbed me ( told is connected to the fire alarm) on top of the outside noise. I did change room 2nd night but was given a room with a bath and fixed panel/screen, as a blue badge holder this made using the shower extremely difficult. Given the Aggro from my 1st move I couldn’t face another. The Duty Manager I spoke to was passive aggressive and sarcastic, I didn’t want to deal with him again. The hotel knew I had trouble with mobility as I had registered my badge with them & use a walking stick, they should have moved me to a room with a walk in shower like my first room had. They had been informed of my need for a quieter room at 06:30 and I went out all day so they had 8 hours to reallocate my room. 3 times during the 2 day stay my key cards failed meaning I had to go up & down to reception each time & twice queued to get the card sorted, and yes I know to not put it near other devices.

Location for shopping, dining, sports/concerts stadiums and site seeing was excellent

The hotel car park was very hard to find with all the one way system and the sat navigation didn't get me to the hotel at all.

The hotel was great clean comfortable and the breakfast was lovely.
