The lavender lodge is beautifully designed, very modern and clean. It feels like home right away. There is everything you need in the kitchen, from all the appliances to groceries for a delicious breakfast. The hosts are very friendly. We had a wonderful time and can recommend a stay any time!

Guest garden isn’t attached to the lodge, its entrance is on the other side of the garden but you are given your own key for access which was nice.

Lavender Lodge was absolutely wonderful. Beautifully kept, with not only the essentials but extra bonuses and treats. The lodge was cosy and perfect for two. Glen and Sandra really went the extra mile, and the garden was gorgeous. There is so much to do locally, with Arundel 2 minutes up the road and Brighton and Portsmouth less than an hour away, but the location was peacful, relaxing and private: an english country dream. Glen even went to extra effort of finding us somewhere more local and better for fossil hunting. Their message when we arrived home was so kind and thoughful. Our only problem was that we didn't book more nights! We will definitly being booking a stay for the summer.

We liked everything!!

Private, clean, perfectly appointed, no details left out. The space is great for two people. Having the kitchen was great, especially since the hosts stocked it with essentials. Plus having access to the beautiful flower garden is a great bonus. It is in a quaint little village with a very nice restaurant The George nearby. A visit to nearby Arundel (5 minute drive) to see the castle and visit the shops is a must.

The apartment was extremely clean and our hosts had thought of every possible thing we could need or want. Would most definitely recommend . Great hosts, very friendly and helpful, lovely location close to Arundel with plenty to do in and around the area. Recommend the boat trip, such fun. Big thumbs up from us TX

The location was lovely, the lodge was absolutely perfect, spotlessly clean, and every little detail had been thought of....simply perfect. 5* luxury, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay and felt very spoilt with all the extra provisions provided. Books about the area, games provided, flowers on the dresser, fruit bowl etc, etc...quality all the way...just lovely. Sandra and Glen, the hosts, were very friendly and welcoming...providing a full run down of the lodge and what to see in the area.

Nothing I didn’t like, it’s lovely.

Traditional exterior that blends into the beautiful surroundings perfectly. Inside a modern and high quality classy finish with some traditional elements. It was very clean & presented well. Very peaceful location & beautiful garden. Owners live next door. Lovely people, not intrusive if that concerns you but available if necessary. I’d of happily sat in the garden & chatted with them. I will definitely return if I can get the dates I need.

We had a warm welcome and short tour from Glen when we arrived, him and Sandra were such lovely, friendly hosts. The lodge was spotless and beautifully furnished and had everything you could possibly need and more! The location was great for myself and my boyfriend who were attending a show at Goodwood, it was very easy to get to from Wepham. Arundel was only a 5-10 minute drive away too. We will definitely be returning ☺️

This is such a great place to stay. It’s comfortable, the facilities are excellent, the location is awesome, it’s super clean and the hosts are wonderful people. If you want a quiet getaway that’s not far from Arundel (10 minutes drive) and not far from the coast, Littlehampton (20 minutes drive) this is the place to stay, It is FIVE STARS ⭐️

That we hadn’t booked a longer stay

Absolutely faultless, the owners have thought of everything and it’s the small touches that make all the difference. My wife was positively ecstatic to discover a full length mirror by a plug so that she did not have to resort to using her phone to dry her hair! It is very well appointed and tastefully decorated with a bed that was very comfortable. It’s a great location, it’s very quiet in beautiful countryside. We were at Goodwood for the Members Meeting and it was ideal. Add in the very, very generous provision of food stuff to the immaculate cleanliness and as I say, absolutely faultless!
