We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.

United KingdomRoom 26. Spent first 20 minutes fixing toilet seat as it came off when I lifted it to use toilet. Black mould around top of bath and taps. No hot water to take a bath or shower as they had a problem with boiler until our last night, but afraid to use because of mould.
Location excellent, parking good, staff friendly.

United KingdomThe property itself including the decor was incredibly dated and was very unkempt. The furniture including the hairdryer was very old but useable. Hardly any plugs if you are a family with phones/watches etc so take an adapter! You also had to leave your key at reception every time you left in case of fire so they knew who was in the building. Luckily we only left once on our one nights stay.
The property location was perfect. The staff were very helpful.

United KingdomBreakfast portions are reduced since my stay last year. Feels a bit mean to allocate cereal portion and cling film it in a bowl. If you stay here you must expect 1970's room decor. We could not close bathroom door without unscrewing door bar, could not get TV reception, and mattresses are all ancient. But you get what you pay for so if you go with that in mind you'll be fine.
Parking on site. Staff very friendly. Rooms clean and location is amazing.

United KingdomThe room was a lot smaller than expected, it was next to the main stairs so was quite noisy, the view from the window was onto some ones back garden so you could be seen and had to keep curtains closed a lot. The very small television was fixed at an angle so you could not see it very well from the bed or the chairs. I would suggest a wall bracket that is moveable and a slightly bigger tv. The kettle had a short lead so had to be plugged in on the floor rather than the table or by the sink, this is a risk of someone getting burnt.
The location is lovely, the staff are helpful and chatty. Breakfast was nice with plenty of choice,

The hotel was in a good location, on the seafront and close to the centre of town. It was the cheapest hotel in Oban. Staff were friendly.

United KingdomBreakfast at £10 was terrible. I only wanted tea and toast and was still charged the full amount. My friend had sausage bacon and egg that was swimming in oil. Not good at all. Advise others to go into Oban for breakfast.

One of the cheaper hotels in oban so there can be no complaints really , you get what you pay for, we had a great sea view in a large room, very quirky hotel and nice staff especially the young girl behind the bar

United KingdomWe had a lovely stay and had considered extending by a couple of days but on our last night there were new occupants in the room next door. Their dog/dogs barked at every noise especially early in the morning so we had a very disrupted sleep. Not the hotels fault but sadly as a result we decided to leave on schedule.
The location of the hotel is ideal with stunning views over Oban bay. Plenty car parking and clean rooms. Breakfast was basic but adequate. Staff were lovely.
