Internet could be abit faster but staying at such a nice place, I didn’t have the time to use my phone much.

It exceeded our expectations. Rooms were extremely clean and comfortable. With the fully equipped kitchen, we even managed to cook our dinners. TV has Netflix, etc installed, so you can also enjoy movies on the comfy sofa. And there were load of chips too.

This was a tremendous find and we would heartily recommend staying at Linda's! The location is a 5 minute drive from all the golf courses and town of St Andrews. We didn't try the local inn as we were playing golf every day and ate in the town (see my separate reviews!) The apartment was very clean, very comfortable, very well equipped for a short stay and warm. Lots of hot water and soft towels. Next time I will be requesting a bath though, which I had not specified and so we had a lovely large shower room. I think some of the flats have a bath too. The furniture and look is exactly as per the photos on the Booking.com website. This is a super quiet spot, tucked away but with wonderful views across the coastline, and with scenic walks from the door. Thank you Linda, we hope to be back soon!

For a self catering apartment, there were limited utensils for cooking a meal. However, we enjoyed improvising and achieved the following with a a potato masher: sieving, pine nut crushing, cheese grating and lemon zesting. Golf city cabs took out booking then failed to show.

Well appointed, traditional with a modern twist. Very good size for a couple.

The road leading to the apartments was quite dark and the sign could maybe be a little bigger or more lit to be able to know you've arrived.

We came at night and our GPS stopped at the nearest crossroad. We had to ask 2 other groups of people where it was!!!

We were a little out of town but not too far. Roads were paved. The property was nearly new and really nicely finished. We did have to go up and down stairs to sleep and use bathroom but we left our luggage downstairs!!

Just a couple of minor points - some floor cleaning equipment would have been good so that we could clean our footprints at the entrance to the room. The tv was on the small side.

Location was lovely. Off very quite country road, approx 5 miles from St Andrews. Local pub/restaurant about 1 mile away (no pavement part way but not an issue as the road isn't too busy) for a fairly level walk.

Every thing was perfect..... the only thing we didn't like.... was ..... having to leave and go home!!!!

The location of the property (we stayed in The Byre) is in a perfect location.... very quiet (most of the time, you couldn't hear a pin drop) - there is a road nearby, but you could hardly hear the traffic, when it passed by! We had a lovely view from the property... as it sits 'up hill' - you can see 'for miles'. Our bedroom was at the back of the property.... and we both slept very well..... in fact, the best 3 nights sleep I have had in a long time!!!! The Byre is very well laid out and is very cosy and comfortable......We will be back, at some point......Thank you, Linda & Peter, for looking after us so well!!!

It was a bit chilly and it took a while to warm up. Bathroom door squeaks. Soap holder in the shower is one of those without a bottom. So you keep your small bottles on the shower's floor. In the bathroom there is not a plug for the hairdryer. The location is a bit far from downtown Saint Andrews which discourages one to break the day and return for a rest during the day.

The apartment is lovely, new and clean, furnished with good taste and harmonious, relaxing colors. Comfy bed. Spacious bathroom. Nice to have robes! We appreciated the goodies and the guidebooks available for our use and the promptness with which Linda, the owner, responded to our questions.
