Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):

United KingdomThe building absolutely stank of something i can't explain. There was a used condom behind the bed, the TV didn't work. I was made to wait nearly 35 mins outside another hotel around the corner to get obtain the key for the property I was staying at while some guy was preparing a room in another property. (It was also picking with rain)

United KingdomNo batteries in tv remote. only 1 cup to have a cup of tea but the kettle didn’t work so that was pointless. No one on site to manage the building, we were woken up early to someone breaking into the room next door. Water all over the communal toilet floor. In the roof outside our window was a smashed up kettle, shoes, towels, boxers and a nappy. It was a very bizarre experience

United KingdomI paid for a room upgrade an extra £1.65 but still got cheap room. The sink in my room was not attached to the wall ( AT ALL ). My window would not close at all, and the street is unbelievably nosey. BUT IT'S A CHEAP AFFORDABLE B&B / HOTEL. we can't expect gold, ha ha ha .
Close to beach and overnight parking, Clean carpet. Friendly staff ( IN OFF HOTEL WHERE I HAD TO GET KEYS FROM )

United KingdomHaving to collect the keys from a different hotel. Initially both places were difficult to find. After a couple of times after figuring out which way to go back to the hotel was ok. The front door wasn't very secure,looks like one good push would easily open it.the shared bathroom was filthy. No way could you use the bath/shower or sink in there. If you hover over the seat or make a cushioning around the seat you'd be ok. The shared toilet room next door could do with a new toilet seat,was a little fluffy under at the bottom of the seat.the lid was always lay across the seat in there too. The springs were coming through our mattress,it had a protecter thing over it which made it bearable. There was an old skidder stain on a towel.no bulb in the main lighting and that looked unsafe anyway. Our only source of lighting in that room was from a small,wooden,old bedside lamp. The TV just never worked. The pressure from the cold tap (sink in our room) was ridiculous but managed to use it and the hot tap to fill the sink so I could at least have a stand up wash. The pillows were flat. One piece of the wallpaper on the wall facing us was hanging off. Fine as a last resort or base. Oh the lock on our room door was so old and on the dodgy side too.was no lobby.
The Victorian in built cupboard in our room,very quirky. I liked the carpets. It was in an ok location too.

United KingdomOne room was OK and comfortable and located next to the toilet however we were unable to open the door fully due to placement of furniture. The second room had a broken window, holes in the wardrobe, the main light didn't work and the radiator wasn't attached to the wall. For the price we paid it was OK for somewhere just to sleep for one night.
The welcome when collecting the keys from a hotel nearby was good and we were given our keys quickly. The bedding and communal areas were clean. There were towels and a sink in each room. We were a family of 4 who stayed in 2 rooms. The location was convenient for attractions and a car park close by.
