The double bed was a little small and not very comfortable.

Fabulous location, close to the beach. The cottage had everything we needed and was very clean.

Curtains in bedrooms were not black out and let a lot of light through. A shower curtain in the family bath room would be good.

5 people only used one of the two bathrooms as only the en suite had a shower - totally pointless having 2 bathrooms of there is no over the bath shower - there really should Be tiles up the walls and a shower curtain. Not a lot of effort and would make staying there in a family/group much much easier instead of having to wait for everyone to get in and out of shower every morning. Seems a total waste of bathroom and made it tedious in the mornings.

The location was excellent. Very well equipped kitchen. The cottage was extremely clean upon arrival. All in all a very good experience.

there was nothing about the property that we didn’t like

the property was clean comfortable and very well equipped. the location was excellent. everything that we needed was in the cottage. we have never known a self catering property that has as much equipment as this one. even a high chair travel cot and stair gate. a welcome pack was provided as well. it was like a home from home. beds very comfortable and everything was really clean

Loved the location, short walk to the beach and a short drive to Rye. The cottage was cozy and comfortable and had great facilities.

The cottage was lovely & had pretty much everything you would need really. There were just a couple of things that would need looking at: No spare bulb for the bedside lamp in the twin bedroom. We couldn’t get the plug out of the bath so ended up using some tongs from the kitchen. Problems with closing a window or two. We couldn’t find the parking space/s at the back of the property so just parked out the front. Luckily, we always managed to get a space & the road was quiet. Could probably do with getting a new bbq as this one was old & pretty rusty! All just small little things, other than that it was great. Thank you.

Double bed very hard mattress. Two parking spaces nowhere to be found so just parked on main road at the front.

Honestly cannot fault anything,everything was exceptional.

The house was immaculate, beautifully decorated and had everything we needed,the menus and games there were great and we used both....a lovely touch,even a beautiful cake and biscuits left for when we arrived. We took our dog and he loved enclosed garden and of course the beautiful beach which is yards away!!

A blind behind the curtains in the main bedroom to make the room darker at night would have been great for us. Only that we like a dark bedroom, I appreciate it may not be an issue for others.

Location was great, few minutes from the sea. The house was very homely. Well equipped.

The en suite shower didn't work and the plug in the bath had no chain and could only be removed by using a knife. There was no electric socket on the right side of the bed. Only one full length mirror in the double bedroom which was inside the wardrobe and difficult to use. No bedside tables in the twin bedroom. No grab/hand rail near the bath which felt unsafe for us. No TVs in the bedrooms which was disappointing. The double bed was the worst we have ever slept in, very hard, as were the pillows.

The house was very clean. WiFi was good and there were lots of TV channels. Nice towels. Separate downstairs toilet was useful.

Curtains so thin it was too light in the bedrooms to sleep. And main bedroom bed too hard to sleep on.

Did not receive any information regarding the keys, so when we arrived at the property we rang the host's phone number several times leaving voice messages and texts. He rang back after over an hour to say he had emailed the information, which he had not. We were left sitting in the car outside the house for an hour in the pouring rain!! He should have been available to contact, knowing someone was arriving at his property. He had to tell us where to park as it was not clearly signed, then later the neighbour knocked on the door telling us we were parked in his space, so we had to move. A sign indicating the proper parking space would have been helpful! The actual space is in a carport under the house next door but one.
