Rebecca & Iain were wonferful hosts - every conceivable extra was thought of and the breakfast was awesome! The unit itself was extraordinary and the bed linen beautiful! Can't recommend this place enough! The pub adjacent to the property was great with a superb menu & service!

The hosts were very friendly and welcoming. The room is immaculate and the position across from Skye makes for stunning views. The breakfast was extremely varied and generous. Communication with the hosts prior to checking in was great so we were able to book into the excellent Glenelg Inn right next door for a delicious dinner.

That we only stayed one night - could have moved in forever!

Loved everything about our stay. Rebecca and Iain were wonderful hosts. Beautiful views, incredibly generous continental breakfast options, exceptionally well appointed and clean. Perfectly located next door to the fabulous pub where we had a great meal.

If I had to be picky I would say the breakfast. Having stayed at B&Bs for the previous week all had fresh berries and croissants. The berries here were from a frozen pack and there were no croissants only a bread roll wrapped in plastic.

Nothing it was perfect!

The property was everything I could have asked for and more. A quaint little studio with amazing views across the water. A dedicated parking space and a beach within a minutes walk. There is a handy booklet with all the rooms information as well as local information. I was advised that the room would be stocked with continental breakfast but was amazed by the offering - porridge pots, granola, cereal, fresh fruit, scones etc. the fridge also had fresh water, milk, orange juice. The bed was large and comfortable with clean, luxurious bedding. Easy to connect WiFi with a strong connection - perfect for me doing work admin and streaming shows. The bathroom was beautifully presented and had lovely smelling soaps and shampoos included.

Nothing to dislike even the long single track approach road added an element of intrigue.

The accommodation was superb and well appointed with a fantastic view across the Loch. We were provided with a healthy breakfast and luxurious bedding, towels etc that added to a wonderful experience. A great location to sit back and relax. The owners were very friendly and attentive and made sure we wanted for nothing.

The room was perfect with everything provided to meet our needs, it was so clean and there was plenty of food for our continental breakfast. The view from the room was amazing. Our hosts recommended we book and eat at the pub next door, the food served was very good with a great atmosphere, a typical country pub. If you are going to the Isle of Skye, the accommodation is close to the ferry for the trip across. Thank you Rebecca, we will definitely recommend your accommodation to our family and friends if they visit Scotland.

This property is absolutely perfect. The furnishings are top draw and the position overlooking Skye and set on the water is unbelievable. Rebecca is a fantastic host and booked us a table at the pub next door where the food was excellent and full of characters

While the breakfast is great it would be nice to have the additional option of something cooked, or at least the possibility to toast bread.

Gorgeous location right on the shore of the bay. Stunning drive on single track roads to arrive. Perfect start to visit Isle of Skye with the Glenelg ferry. New modern and very comfortable room and amenities. Rebecca and Iain were amazing hosts, and shared some key tips to make our trip that much better. One of the very best places I have stayed in many decades of travels at hundreded of hotels.

This property was perfect for us, the property was beautifully presented and the views out of the window were spectacular, felt very peaceful. The breakfast that was left exceeded our expectations and a great treat to end our stay. We really enjoyed the country pub next door and wish we had booked for a meal there, not knowing if there was going to be a restaurant so close. The self check in was great and was lovely to meet the wonderful owners in the morning. We will definitely will be back for longer next time!

Nothing. Would have liked some ham or cheeses with the continental breakfast, but there was plenty, and a change to a full Scottish.

Nothing could have been better this place is exceptionally good. You will regret staying at Kirkton Bay.

Me and my wife absolutely loved it here. The owners were so friendly and the room was outstanding. Nestled in a quiet little village we found ourselves in a room that was finished to a very high standard. Other points to make are as follows, 1. Exceptionally clean 2. The best views to wake up to 3. Nice continental breakfast with cereal, bread, frui,yoghurt, milk, and orange juice 4. Pub literally next door with a great atmosphere, very friendly locals and serving some of the best pub food I have ever had. 5. You can tell from the moment you arrive this place is run with love, care and hard work to maintain such a stunning place. I have stopped in alot of b&b/hotels around Britain and this place would be in my top 5. We loved our stay and are currently looking at returning next year but for longer. You will not be disappointed stopping at Kirkton Bay.
