Katerina, the host, was wonderful! David too. Such friendly people who offered great advice about the area, which is stunningly beautiful. Place was immaculate, clean, and so very special… slept like a baby, such peace and quiet. Food was delicious too! Highly recommend Kirkland BnB.

Nothing, everything we needed was around us, couldn't fault a thing. Katarina was a fantastic host.

House is stunning outside and inside, kept to a high standard. Katarina couldn't have done anything more for us to enjoy the time we were there. One of the best hosts We have ever encountered. Breakfast was fantastic, bed was super comfy, room was big well decorated and the shower was great. Clachan is a stunning part of the country and the house has a pleasant walk to the local beach a great base to explore the peaceful countryside.

Beautiful accommodation, the room had a luxurious feel but in a homely way, the bathroom was shared but really clean with a great shower, lovely garden, great breakfast and the hosts are really friendly and welcoming. Would love to have stayed longer and hope to go back. The accommodation is in a tiny village but close to bigger places like Tarbert. It’s also close to the ferry to the Isle of Gigha.

Beautiful clean comfy beds. Delicious cooked breakfast with home made bread and jams. Shower powerful and hot. Lovely fresh flowers in the room. Definitely would recommend and would return

Nothing - it was perfect

Kirkland House is an absolute gem - we were in Clachan for a wedding and it was the perfect place to stay. Katarina is an exceptional hostess, and she and David made us so welcome from the moment we arrived to the minute we left. The rooms are beautifully finished, large, airy and incredibly comfortable. We very much hope to return!

Everything was so perfect. Katarina and David were the kindest hosts and the attention to detail was very impressive. A beautiful stay with a beautiful family. Spotless warm rooms, comfy beds, great powerful showers, delicious breakfast. Couldn’t ask for more from a B&B. Would definitely recommend.

I cannot think of anything that I didn't like. Except for the poor Scottish weather but as I am a Scot; this was not unexpected!

The hosts were very friendly and made sure my stay was excellent Excellent Breakfast included. The B&B location is remote and quiet as expected in a small village. Free wifi is provided throught the house. Very comfortable room and beds. Guest Lounge available.

The owners are very polite and kind. Good location and good homemade breakfast for on the go! We had to catch a ferry and were offered the homemade breakfast for on the road!

Parking is a little tough to get in and out of but that is such a minor thing

Loved our stay here. Perfectly located between the ferry to get to Islay and Sping Bank. Hosts were excellent and really accommodating. Food in the morning was fantastic. Would definitely stay again!
