You kind of need a car to stay here because it is not near a town or bus stops

This was a very nice property on a loch. It was quiet and peaceful. The staff was kind and friendly. Breakfast was excellence. We are an evening meal in the restaurant that was delicious

not dislike but a couple of suggestions. the dining area tables were tacky. I think this is caused. y the cleaning product affecting the varnish. just a shame the dining area isn’t a little smarter than the actual bar but I am aware staffing can be an issue these days. our room (11). the shower over the bath didn’t permit you to stand and shower - I’ve only recently had a knee replacement and sitting in a bath isn’t possible. pity the bath wasn’t turned around so you could stand and shower. overall comfortable.

Nothing really, l had a ground floor room and the fire doors would bang everytime someone went through them. It is advisable to book a table for an evening meal if you want to eat at the hotel as it gets very busy, not many place in the area to eat.

The location was delightful, close to the very end of a loch. The hotel was clean and comfortable with a couple of small sitting rooms for guests. Breakfast was lovely, bar and bar meals were also very tasty.

our co-travelers had a 3rd floor room with low ceilings and a low shower that was not very convenient.

What a beautiful location on the Loch side! It felt so tranquil and peaceful and the garden around the property is beautiful in June :) We even saw multiple seals swimming in the loch in the evening... The rooms are modern, clean, very comfy and beautifully decorated. The favorite hotel we stayed in during our road trip this June! Food in the pub downstairs was of very high standard, with more restaurant type of dishes than the typical pub grub! loved the dinner

No one at reception when checking in...went back to the bar for check in and staff was excellent to deal with. Not a stand up shower (tub with low showerhead)....otherwise, good stay.

While the bathroom is very large there are no hooks or flat surfaces to put anything. And the hooks behind the entry door are up very high and hard to reach unless you are very tall…

Unclear where to check in when reception isn’t staffed. Very noisy place to stay- the walls in room allowed every noise from next door rooms to be heard, this and hearing every door in building bang shut meant a disturbed stay so unable to relax in evening or sleep well. Felt it was a little overpriced.

Looks like the renovations and improvements are continuing and it would be great to see a similar standard of upgrade in the restaurant area.
