To be honest, there wasn't really anything we didn't like. Unfortunately for us, when we booked it was it was February half term, and the hotel wasn't doing evening meals until the summer. Oh, and the bed wasn't comfortable. It actually felt I was falling out all the time, almost as if the bed was not level. But we made it work for us.

We were made to feel welcome as soon as we entered the hotel. Our room on the second floor was easy to get to. The room was fresh and clean, it could have done with redecorating, but as the hotel was in the process of redecoration, it wasn't a problem. Tea/coffee facilities, hairdryer on request. Paid extra for breakfast, but it was well worth it. Good choices, the full English was amazing, and it was definitely worth the money.

The building is showing its age and it is visible, but you can also notice that the owners are trying to slowly add more splendour to it - within the means and possibilities. Very clean and cosy. Great location - right next to the promenade and close to the centre and all attractions. Good breakfast and very friendly and helpful staff.

The hotel felt partially refurbished with some new carpets etc. but some other areas, including the building's facade, were looking worn and tired. A painter was at work during our stay and the owners are clearly investing money in upgrades piece by piece around what is a Victorian era building that will need a fair bit of maintenance.

There was a friendly welcome and the staff were excellent. The breakfast was fine and consisted of a choice of three cereals and fruit juice, followed by a cooked to order breakfast from a long list of options which was served with toast and tea or coffee. The bedding was all comfy, the room was plenty large enough and the big soft chairs facing out to sea were a nice touch. This isn't a top end luxury hotel, but it had everything we needed including a perfect location for the event we were attending, was good value for the price we paid and we'd be happy to stay here again if we come back to Llandudno.

Being woken up at 7.30am by a seagull banging on the window 😂. Decor/furniture looking tired but they do appear to be working their way around with improvements.

I thought I booked a sea view room, we were given a room overlooking the carpark at the back. We were offered another room with a sea view for extra cost, despite the room still being available on booking.com at the same price as the room we were originally given. No hairdryer in the room, I’m sure we could have requested one. A member of staff unlocked our door and came in , was a mistake, he apologised . Very friendly staff. Nice and clean , comfy bed.

Such a lovely welcoming hotel ,the lady who runs it was lovely so friendly the room was a decent size very clean ,would definitely stay there again ,breakfast was really good fresh juice ,tea coffee cereal yogurts also a cooked breakfast which you could choose items you wanted which we loved the poached eggs were perfect.

Shower room was nice but too small, a bit more thought in design making it a little larger would have been great, TV no channels but as it was only 1 night it didn't matter, forgot to report it so they probably would have dealt with it

Very noisy when anyone is moving around hotel , room needs decorating and updating, electrical socket was loose which is dangerous I did report to be told they know and are waiting for an electrician maybe a warning as children are using rooms

Some parts are renovated others not, lift blocked off.

Close to Venue Cymru so ideal for our stay, but a bit far from the pubs and so on. Little extras in the room and the room is large, bed is extra comfy. Late check out.

Whilst the hotel was very good, it could do with some maintenance on it. Skirting boards could do with painting, the carpet on the stairs was past its best and was threadbare in parts. That said, I do believe the hotel will be renovated in the New Year so, depending on their plans, I imagine that in time to come it will be an excellent hotel with a higher rating.

Everything went well from checking in to checking out - couldn't fault anything really. The staff were absolutely wonderful, they go out of their way to ensure their guests are happy and comfortable - nothing was too much trouble at all.
