The only downsides would be the bed , was a smaller double bed and wasn’t that comfortable. Room was very warm even with window open.

Great location , clean , staff very friendly and welcoming, on-suit bathroom was great. Rooms very up to date and stylish , B&B on a whole very up to date. Couldn’t fault the breakfast, plenty to chose from , great value for money.

Secure storage for our bicycles in the yard, would have been good if they had been covered, but fortunately it was a dry night so all was fine.

Very good location for the end of the Hadrian's Cycleway in South Shields. Very warm welcome from our host and a welcome beer from the quirkily and comfortably furnished lounge bar. Decent sized room well appointed with en suite and tea and coffee and biscuits and water. Wifi was excellent. Shower really good. Guest house well located for a range of restaurants within a very short walking distance. We only had time in the morning for something quick on toast with juice and coffee as we had a train to catch, but host was more than happy to accommodate our needs and timings and had we had more time, there was a full breakfast menu which sadly we missed! Would definitely recommend to others.

We were welcomed at the door by Paul who showed us to our room we have stayed at some b&b in our time but this one was exceptional we were also able to pre book our breakfast by ticking boxes, the breakfast was first class full english Hash brown black pudding fried egg but you could have poached or scrabbled if you like I could go on, also should you need it their was dressing gowns and slippers in our room the bed was like home from home. We only stayed the one night but we will be back for two nights in future. Highly recommend this b&b and they also accept well behaved dogs.

Excellent location wihin a short walk from the Marina Park, Little Haven beach, Arbeia, and the main Street. The guest house also provides a useful booklet with the main touristic sites. Beautifully decorated! Welcoming owners. And pets 🐕 more than welcome 🤗

Everything was great, no fault.

Very clean, comfortable bed and cosy. The hosts were lovely and there were a lot of amenities at the property. The hosts also provided drinks as well as breakfast at the accommodation however we were only there a short time to catch up with friends so did not get to utilise.

If you have mobility issues, ask about the stairs to the rooms. The shower boiler in the private bathroom was unreachable for me, as I'm only 5ft and this was like 6ft from the floor. When you're coming to the address (and it's already dark) watch the house numbers and house names closely, as there are the same numbers on both sides of the street!

Crispy clean place, comfy bed, beach and a dog park very close. The place is nice and decorated with a feeling for details. The breakfast was rich and tasty.

It’s location was great, close to the town centre, parks and the beach. Very handy for the metro train. Breakfast was really very tasty. Our room and house was lovely, bed was very comfy and it had everything we needed.

Host was lovely and breakfast was delicious and I was travelling with fussy eaters lol. Dog friendly and liked that I was able to bring her to breakfast with me as some places don't allow this and I hate leaving her in the room alone. So this was great.

Unfortunately, there was a problem with the water to the rooms in the morning (I only stayed for one night). This clearly caught the proprietor by surprise when it was brought to their attention. This meant no shower or washing facilities. As I was feeling unwell, I didn't wait to see if this was resolved. The guest house was slightly tricky to find as the two sides of the road don't share the same name!

The room was very smart and comfortable, and my needs were well provided for. Would have warranted a higher score without the problem detailed below.
