Not enough biscuits in the room....LOL!!

Stayed for one night in a single room. I was surprised to find a double bed! Room had everything you may need. Bed on the hard side, but I managed a reasonable nights sleep. Host very helpful and friendly. Can't comment on breakfast as I didn't book one.

A warm friendly welcome at this comfortable guest house. Brilliant breakfast which set us and our dog up for the day. Conveniently located near the beach in South Shields

I’d upgraded to the family room to get en suite and some space. It housed a double bed and 2 singles (double bed really comfy) but I would’ve liked an armchair, though to be fair, with sleeping for 4 in the room I’m not sure there would be room for a chair. Other rooms may have this.

Very comfortable bed. I upgraded to get an en suite which was lovely with a good shower. Friendly host. Privacy guaranteed. Walking distance to a park and the beach and lots of restaurants and takeouts. Parking on street is fine - always found a space. Breakfast was phenomenal! And although I had no dog, being a dog friendly guest house is a bonus. Also very quiet. Plenty room for clothing. Unlimited tea/coffee/milk and plenty choices of tea. Free view tv and free wifi (decent strength).

Nice guest house, spotlessly clean with everthing you needed in the room. Breakfast was delicious and plentiful and the hosts were genuinely friendly and helpful. Loved the place. Very highly recommended

The mattress wasn't very comfortable was so hard but that's just personal preference i suppose The radiator we couldn't get on so when we got in late at night it was freezing The toilet was so noisy but the owner did warn us beforehand

The only downsides would be the bed , was a smaller double bed and wasn’t that comfortable. Room was very warm even with window open.

Great location , clean , staff very friendly and welcoming, on-suit bathroom was great. Rooms very up to date and stylish , B&B on a whole very up to date. Couldn’t fault the breakfast, plenty to chose from , great value for money.

Excellent breakfast. A high standard of food and plenty of delicious choices. Location is just yards away from the top overlooking the sea, with walks in all directions

Secure storage for our bicycles in the yard, would have been good if they had been covered, but fortunately it was a dry night so all was fine.

Very good location for the end of the Hadrian's Cycleway in South Shields. Very warm welcome from our host and a welcome beer from the quirkily and comfortably furnished lounge bar. Decent sized room well appointed with en suite and tea and coffee and biscuits and water. Wifi was excellent. Shower really good. Guest house well located for a range of restaurants within a very short walking distance. We only had time in the morning for something quick on toast with juice and coffee as we had a train to catch, but host was more than happy to accommodate our needs and timings and had we had more time, there was a full breakfast menu which sadly we missed! Would definitely recommend to others.

We were welcomed at the door by Paul who showed us to our room we have stayed at some b&b in our time but this one was exceptional we were also able to pre book our breakfast by ticking boxes, the breakfast was first class full english Hash brown black pudding fried egg but you could have poached or scrabbled if you like I could go on, also should you need it their was dressing gowns and slippers in our room the bed was like home from home. We only stayed the one night but we will be back for two nights in future. Highly recommend this b&b and they also accept well behaved dogs.

Excellent location wihin a short walk from the Marina Park, Little Haven beach, Arbeia, and the main Street. The guest house also provides a useful booklet with the main touristic sites. Beautifully decorated! Welcoming owners. And pets 🐕 more than welcome 🤗
