Lack of staff Breakfast was disappointing, the hot food was not replenished, people were waiting for the hot plate to be re stocked, the food came out in dribs & drabs.

I was on the 3rd floor, but there was only a lift to 2nd floor, didn't bother me too much but would be a big problem for some people. The breakfast was a bit disappointing as they keep running out of bacon, also one day the coffee machine did not work as well. If you can manage without bacon the breakfast was quite good.

Nice clean room and comfy bed, it also had a bath and everything worked, so no complaints with room.

The breakfast was an absolute joke, it had been move to another place and was not set up well. By 08.30, there was no more fruits (only pieces of skin), no more pastries, horrible instant coffee, no alternative milk and glassware for the "juice" unhelpful staff

Welcoming staff at the front desk Quiet rooms, quiet enough corridors - if you can find your room - a real maze ! Very Good location from the train station and to go out for dinner

The hotel needed more staff, Saturday morning breakfast was awful , only one member of staff was present, the hot food had run out and not replenished and we were at breakfast at 8 30

Shortage of staff meant waiting to be served on occasion. Limited menu options.

Comfortable room. Bit of a maze to get to the room. Pleasant staff, good breakfast although the tables were a bit cramped for 2 people. Preferred the upstairs breakfast room which we'd used before.

Lots of noise throughout the night which woke me several times. Apparently staff were preparing a room for a wedding reception the next day, but that was no comfort for residents trying to sleep.

The location and the hotel were perfect, especially the underground secure parking.

Too noisy til after 1am No sound proofing Tiny room Receptionist didn’t explain about Bar, Restaurant location or opening times. When I left in the morning I had to tiptoe and drag my suitcase over lots of broken glass outside main entrance

When we had gotten into our room it was very small, almost like a cleaners sized room where you'd stock supplies. The ceiling in the bathroom was also awful as ther were clear makes where ther is a leak creating brown stains and the toilet required extra effort to actually flush it.

The hotel was overall very nice and clean with helpful staff.

Rooms can be a little small depending on location within hotel. Clean on a surface level, but can be a bit dusty in non obvious places.

Totally satisfied with my visit. No complaints. Thank you for making my visit so pleasant, As a former resident of Darlington it was good to be back and to recall many happy memories spent in the area

A very good dinner, the staff were most helpful. Breakfast was equally well presented and enjoyed The bedroom was fine , a comfortable night's sleep, I last stayed in the hotel "last century" and was impressed by the facilities . A pleasant walk to and from the station, Will hopefully stay with you again shortly.
