We have stayed at this property several times because we love it. Everything has been thought of from fresh milk in the guest fridge to an excellent choice of breakfast. Extremely clean and comfortable with a short walk to the sea front.

Wow! What a place. A beautiful house, so tastefully decorated and furnished. Amanda and Brian were the perfect hosts, we felt we had known them ages. Breakfast was gorgeous with so many things to choose from that no-one could be disappointed. The bedroom was lovely, spotlessly clean, and a very comfy bed. A fabulous weekend break. We wished we could have stayed longer!

Honestly, there was nothing we didn’t like about our stay. If I had to be really critical, I would just mention two small things: there wasn’t a toilet brush in the bathroom, and the water in the shower was a bit temperamental when other guests were using it at the same time. But these were very minor issues, and overall, everything was perfect.

Our stay at King's Lodge was absolutely wonderful, and Amanda, the owner, made it even better. From the moment we arrived, she welcomed us with such warmth and kindness, explaining everything we needed to know. She went above and beyond to make us feel comfortable and at home, even offering to warm up our baby's milk before bedtime. Amanda was always available and willing to help with anything we needed, which really made a difference in our stay. The facilities are beautifully designed, and the room we stayed in was both comfortable and aesthetically pleasing. The breakfast was a highlight – freshly cooked, delicious, and personalised to our tastes. The added bonus of a few parking spots right by the door and the safe door system gave us extra peace of mind. I highly recommend this place and would love to stay here again!

What a gorgeous B & B. It was a perfect location for access to the beach and the Abbey too. The delicious cakes left for guest were a fab treat too.

There was.nothing that I didn’t like at the hotel which was of a very high standard. I did not have a car but the buses run regularly and are easily accessible.

The breakfast was excellent….plenty of choice, fresh fruit, cereal, juice, etc. Nothing was too much trouble….staff were lovely, friendly and especially the owner who made me feel very welcome.

We had no problems at all staying at this accommodation. The hosts are very helpful if you did have a problem. They are easy to talk to and are always making sure you are okay or need anything

The accommodation was lovely. Beautiful little garden to sit in at the front with a tv. The room was clean and reasonable size with a nice bathroom. The hosts were very kind and helpful. Not far to walk to seafront where the restaurants and shops were. We loved staying here. Definitely recommend and plenty of parking around if the drive is full but we parked on the drive. They had a nice variety of drinks behind the bar at the accommodation. We will definitely be back for another weekend break. The breakfast was also amazing. Good variety of hot food and other breakfast options. Good variety of squashes and tea and coffee. Pretty quiet area didn’t hear much going on around so slept well.
