We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.

We selected King's Knoll because the hotel had parking and we were taking an early morning ferry to Mull. The location was an easy walk to restaurants and sights. The room was pleasant and clean with a lovely view. We did not order the breakfast box but did have a drink in the lounge area, which also had a nice view of the harbor.

New ZealandThe bathroom was a converted wardrobe with a basin in the top of the toilet cistern. That meant there was nowhere to put anything and you had to lean over the toilet to access the sink. Weird. Unfortunately no food options either at the hotel.
The room was clean. The bed was very comfortable and shower excellent. The staff were helpful.

United States of AmericaThe location is right off the road, making it easy to find, and only a short walk from the bay so we didn't have to drive. The room was very comfortable, and the staff very informative. Upon arrival, they saw our vehicle and let us park in a different spot than normal. They also were helpful with getting our luggage to our room. While there is no kitchen at this hotel, they do have a bar/social area. We just stayed out a little late and it was closed when we returned. The recommendation for a place to eat was well received and very much enjoyed.

United KingdomWe found it a bit strange to not meet any reception staff, but it wasn't a problem. The bed wasn't the comfiest, but ok.
Location just right for us, close to ferry terminal, but far enough away to be nice and quiet. The overnight stay at Kings Knoll meant we could travel home in the daylight the next day instead of straight after the late ferry back from Colonsay.
