The room was small, I found it expensive,

the room was clean, the bed was comfortable. Location was ideal as we were going to a concert at the Royal Albert Hall.

Bed too short (<190cm). Room very small, not even a desk. Sauna and changing rooms out of order. Jacuzzi out of order. Bedroom door didn’t close properly. Bath didn’t drain properly.

Friendly staff, swimming pool, free welcome drink. Communal area and bar are nice.

The room looked tired and in need of some attention. There were stains on the carpet. The toilet seat was discoloured. There was mould around the bath and a number of fixtures were coming away from the walls, including the TV. It's a shame because we stayed a few weeks ago and the room was spot on.

The breakfast was amazing, great variety. Bed was comfortable. Room service was quick. Staff were very welcoming and friendly. Although the room was small it was a good use of the space.

I was initially llocated a room on the first floor. It was extremely noisy and carpet dusty and stained. I asked for another room the next day and was allocated to a better room on the 7th floor. Design layout was an improvement and also much quieter.

Not as clean as the hotel promotes. The spa in the health centre was out of service. The lockers were broken in the change rooms. The lobby furniture could use a good steam clean or update.

The staff service, proximity to city and transport. The Kensington outside garden restaurant was a touch of luxury. The concierge service was a nod to how hotels used to be and made the stay more pleasant. My luggage was able to be stored after check out for free.

Dated rooms and bathrooms as well as the size. Only 2 lifts for the main rooms so very very slow when hotel occupancy is high. Bar was expensive but expected in London.

Standard king room is small. Hotels should understand just because you can fit a king bed in the room doesn’t make it a king sized room. And I’m not sure it is a king bed. But it is VERY comfortable I’m just nitpicking

Just happened to have a room on the corner with a small window with not much of a view, so that particular room was a bit dark, but didn't bother me to much, as I was there for a conference.

This was my second time staying at this hotel. I was in town for a conference at the Bloomsbury Holiday Inn, but I booked this hotel, because it was cheaper and the facilities are better (breakfast area / bar). Also, this hotel has a nice pool w/ spa facilities, which the other one hasn't. The hotel surroundings are nice and there's a underground station nearby with close connection to Paddington station if you want to take the Heathrow express. The station also has a small food court for a quick meal.

No help to carry bags up the front stairs. We weren't told there was a hidden ramp. We upgraded our room on the second day, paid for it, and the room change had still not been done by 4 pm. Public complaint, but my husband brought a senior staff member, and the issue was solved. But it should not have happened. The next room was perfect for a 4 night stay.
