Lift stopped working so not good for us elderly,the stairs down to dining room need to be better It is a beautiful building but entrance let's it down.needs some TLC Having said that we will be going back

It was a 75th birthday surprise! Obviously room with sea view excellent, bed/ room clean and comfortable Staff were very pleasant and helpful.breakfast was very good

Exterior is a bit shabby but once inside room was nice. There are notices in the lift saying the lift engineers say that the lifts aren’t suitable for wheelchairs/prams. Never heard this before and can’t see a lift engineer saying that.

Excellent value for the price we paid, nice clean rooms, great view, great location. Breakfast was included in the price “free”, good selection. Very pleased, above expectations for the price we paid.

TV remote was the incorrect one for the telly as it was a replacement and could not easily change the channel or view the TV guides on the TV. The lift door kept juddering and not closing properly. It seemed to be struggling a lot. The music in the reception and at breakfast could be at times too loud. One morning at breakfast two types of music could be heard making conversation with the waiters difficult. Cracked tiles in bathroom floor.

The location was lovely. The view was nice from the window and The room was spacious. Lovely large wardrobe. Good facilities in the room such as hair dryer, tea, coffee and fan. Very accommodating. Allowed early check-in and kept our suitcase safely until we were ready to depart. The furniture in the reception area was lovely.

I enjoyed my stay. Room was comfortable and good value for money. Breakfast was good. Staff were pleasant and helpful. Location was very convenient being on the seafront and close to the railway station, shops, cafes and restaurants.

I didn’t like that the annex main door wasn’t locked at night. The toilet was wobbly and the shower does were very hard to close and open. But overall great value for money.

Breakfast - I ordered porridge AND eggs on toast and they BOTH came out straight away. I wanted to finish my porridge first! I noticed that this happened to other guests too. Porridge or cereal FIRST please - THEN (when the porridge/cereal is finished) serve the eggs! This was poor in this way - but staff very good otherwise.

Food at breakfast- Good. Very polite, friendly service throughout our stay. Room cleaned & tidied beautifully.

nothing specific to the iris but as so many of the hotels dont have car parks, could they approach the council about the dreadful parking meters? none of them work and it is very frustrating for hotel guests. we visit llandudno regularly and this problem is getting worse.

The only bad thing I could say was the netting and the curtains were on the same rail so couldn't close the curtain properly. Easily fixed with a haiclip but maybe attach the netting to the window sill if possible? Not a big deal.

The staff were so friendly when we got there. Great first impression! The room was ready early, even better! The room was lovely and clean. All you need for a night away and on the beach, amazing spot.

The room was small but it is what is expected for the money and the breakfast only had cereal or different types of egg on toast which we thought was a little odd. We expected more of a full English style so it would be disappointing if you didn’t like egg but it was lovely nonetheless.
