Only thing I can fault is there was no tumble dryer, after a wet day we had quite a lot to get dry. But no complaints otherwise.

The location was best, so beautiful and calming, surrounded by Scottish highlands and a babbling glen. So much to do if your an active family.

We would have liked a freezer in the accommodation - the freezer compartment of the fridge was just a bit too small to take more than a couple of items.

Excellent accommodation in a truly beautiful setting. The accommodation was well equipped, exceptionally clean and well presented. Very comfortable beds and good quality bedding and furnishings throughout. We were welcomed on arrival and encouraged to contact the manager/owner if there was anything we needed. The accommodation had the most superb view of the hills and this added to the very special atmosphere of our stay. We enjoyed walking around the local area and cycling on safe and quiet roads. We had a lovely week and could easily have stayed longer. We were sad to leave!

the secluded location and views were just spectacular. Our host was really friendly and helpful and nothing was too much bother. The hot tub was a brilliant addition to our weekend with teenagers in tow. Would highly recommend staying here for a get away from it all experience.

Further away from amenities than we first thought. Could do with drying facilities. We are an outdoor family and had been biking and walking but first day we and all kit were soaked, no where to dry them really.

Although the property was a very good size the 2nd and 3rd bedrooms were a little compact because of size of built in wardrobes.

Fantastic location … real peace and quiet and great views. Great amenities with gardens and stream and pond . Living room, kitchen and bathrooms were all large.

Only small thing I would add would be perhaps a small fence around the lodge - as we came with our dogs this would help keep them enclosed in the lodge area better and let them be off the lead without roaming around the property. And maybe a BBQ for guests to use :)

We stayed in Frances Sketch Pad for three nights and it was fantastic! The Lodge itself is clearly finished to a very high standard with breathtaking views over to Ben Nevis. It can be hard to find somewhere that has the luxury feel and be dog friendly at the same time, but they have nailed it here. The hot tub is amazing & is the perfect spot to relax after a day of walking. Morning coffee sat with the bi-folding doors open, looking out to the hills was just bliss! We had a very warm welcome from the hosts who chatted over the lodge and gave us recommendations for local dining etc. Would highly recommend for a couple getaway.

The pillows weren’t very comfy. The window beside the bed let a lot of light in as the blind was not black out.

The view is absolutely stunning! The lodge was incredibly clean and had a fantastic design and layout. The kitchen had everything you need. The hot tub was fantastic. The staff were very friendly!

If you are looking for a place to disconnect from the world this is a great choice. The purpose built lodges provide a front row view to the surrounding nature, which is breathtaking. The accommodation is well equipped with dishwasher and washing machine. Internet connection is a little patchy but was fine as we wanted to disconnect. The rooms are small but there is really no need for anything larger as you are unlikely to do anything but sleep in them. The estate staff were friendly although often took a couple of hours to respond. Certainly would recommend the location and the accommodation to others.

The price was quite high compared to the services provided. Additionally, the water available in the cottage was not very clean and seemed to come from the nearby rivers, which affected our experience.

Lacked some attention to detail that you would expect for that price point e.g some lights not working, some basics provided but no welcome hamper/treats, lots of “instruction” notices. We were lucky enough to have great weather but the lodge was boiling and too hot to sleep in. Needs a mobile air con unit or two way insulation for hot days (although may be rare in Scotland it made the lodge unliveable)

Although it says only 15 min from fort william, that drive is a shared little path, often the trucks scooting down the path towards you. 25 min is more realistic and even then it is so stressful, u minimise going out at all. Good if you just want to hole up for the weekend though

Most comfortable accommodation and excellent facilities. The hot tub was amazing and the view from the lodge stunning. An excellent place for rest and relaxation in beautiful peaceful surroundings. Being dog friendly too makes it ideal. We really enjoyed our stay.

The property was beautiful and we had a fabulous stay. I would suggest the property has signs making drivers aware of the 5mph speed limit and that animals are running free in the area. The property was excellent and the hot tub was a fantastic extra.
